Arrived in Cardwell for an overnight and hotel staff strangely recommended the Choice servo for dinner.
Had a lamb roast that was massive. Heaps of meat and vegetables & chips with gravy for the measly price of $12.95.
It was bloody good value and delicious.
Who knew!!

We stayed in a motel in Townsville that didn't do breakfast. Therefore, stopped here for breakfast. Excellent food and very reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Lovely lady behind counter overworked with trying to serve fuel and food. Get a sign for diesel pump as all in same row, while I was there 3 vehicles turned around on other line all looked for diesel. Dangerous for vehicle towing diesel only on road side pumps

Bought 2 hamburgers and chips from there today, very funny taste coming from the meat patties and the buns were stale and soggy, fed them to the dog. I've had very good burgers from them before and never had a complaint, just rang and on the 3rd attempt got a staff member who after I explained my complaint to her and asked for the duty manager informed me that he wasn't available until Sunday and hung up on me, very ordinary customer service.
