Chimu was given the task to organise a trip to South America (Chile, Bolivia, Peru) and I'm happy to say that everything went pretty well. From creating the itinerary to the selection of hotels, and our local guides and drivers. We wanted something less touristy and hassle free, and that was delivered. We visited beautiful and amazing places, and experienced different cultures. We were taken from one place to the other by experienced guides and drivers, mostly private, and joined some small groups for some local activities. Fantastic!

They sent us pre-departure information with complete details of what to expect on the trip and the photography tips. We thoroughly had a fantastic time at Svalbard and its sailing towards the Arctic Packed ice area in July 2022. The unique encounters with Wild Polar bears and Walruses were unforgettable experience of a life time. Thank you Chimu Adventures Australia and Albatross Expedition organised such a fantastic marvellous experience at the Arctic. Albatross Expedition team ( Thumbs up to Phil, Amanda and the rest of the dedicated team ) attempted to look after all passengers and it had been a tough job! Keep up the spirit of exploring the Polar areas, unmistakably totally amazing destinations in this wonderful planet! After visiting the Antarctic areas previously ( Including the South Georgia, King George and Falkland Isles) and now the Arctic and Svalbard Archipelago, we realised how difficult and challenging exploring these polar regions amidst the harsh climate and forever changing weather conditions. OVERALL, the entire Expedition team/ the crew/the catering and hotel department of the Expedition ship; as well as the local expedition Specialist such as Jason of CHIMU Adventure had made our dreams came true all these years! Well done team!

Chimu Adventures Bravo! I can honestly say my recent cruise on 30 Nov 2022 to Antarctica per the 'Ocean Endeavour' exceeded all my expectations. All arrangements including accommodation and transfers in Buenos Aires and Ushuaia were first rate. The expedition cruise partnered with Intrepid was fantastic. Cabins were a good size, crew and meals were equal to any 4-5 star cruise line I have travelled with previously. The Expeditioners onboard knowledge and respect of the environment of Antarctica entrusted all passengers were aware of their surroundings with our 2 x zodiac shore excursions per day. I will never forget the first sighting of Antarctica - this memory will stay with me forever. A fantastic product for persons of all ages, with our cruise passengers ages being between 19 and 82 yrs.
My recommendation is to see Antarctica now if you are able to get into/out of a Zodiac with ease, able to walk unassisted and would love to experience the remoteness of this continent whilst seeing, whales, birdlife, penguins and seals without the presence of Internet and contact with the outside world.
I would highly recommend Chimu Adventures for your travel arrangements to Antartica and South America. Perfect in every way..

I did the Antarctic flight and loved it!! I thought it would be interesting because of the views,
itinerary, sth pole explorers , scientists etc...but it was actually really unexpectedly fun. Best laugh I've had in ages. I would definitely travel with Chimu again.

I recently did the Antarctica Sightseeing Flight with Chimu and was blown away! The whole process from start to finish was planned incredibly well. The Chimu staff was available the moment we got to the airport to help guide you along the way, answer questions, take photos (they even had some fun photo stations and a dressed-up penguin for photo ops). Once on the plane it was great to have the staff walking around, giving us info on what to expect, how the process will go and of course the guest speakers on the plane were an amazing added bonus.

It was truly an unique experience and I'm so glad I went and choose Chimu as the company to book with!

Chimu organised a fantastic opportunity for my family and me to travel to the South Pole, the first commercial flight from another continent, yes we were explorers !!! I booked through Jason, from the Sydney office, who was conversant with the trip, providing comfort to me knowing I was being looked after. The Qantas Captain of the flight was outstanding in flying over historic points, Chimu had experts in their field describing the points of interest and the Chimu staff on board made the flight so memorable and ensuring that everyone had plenty of time to view from the aircraft all the points of interest. It was a long flight in time but short in time when we were so occupied with all the sightseeing. I have now booked for other members of my family to do the Southern Lights flight, that in itself should be a true testament of what I think of Chimu, they are perfectionists and you get more than your monies worth. Thanks Chimu for a job well done.
