I had an amazing experience dining at Chilli India in Preston! The food was absolutely delicious and packed with authentic Indian flavors. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, the biryani was perfectly spiced, and the garlic naan was soft and fresh. Every dish was served hot and full of flavor. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. The atmosphere was vibrant and clean, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special dinners.

Chilli India Preston is a great spot if you're craving authentic Indian food with bold flavours and a warm dining atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious — rich in spices, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. Every dish we tried was fresh and satisfying, from the curries to the tandoori starters.

Terrible Experience – Ruined Our Valentine’s Day!

I wish I could give this place zero stars or even negative ratings. My wife and I arrived at this restaurant in Preston on Valentine’s Day at 7:25 PM, expecting a special evening. What we got instead was an absolute disaster. The place was extremely busy, which is understandable, but what’s NOT acceptable is the complete lack of basic hospitality and customer service.

We were shown to the second hall and seated at a two-seater dining table. The staff assured us they would turn on the lights, but that never happened. We sat there in the dark for 15 minutes! We even notified the front desk, yet not a single staff member could be bothered to turn on the lights. Forget about taking our order—they couldn’t even manage something as simple as turning on the lights!

This is, without a doubt, the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. The sheer incompetence and lack of concern for customers are beyond belief. It’s clear that this place has no respect for its guests and no understanding of how to run a business.

If you’re looking for a restaurant where you’ll be ignored, sit in darkness, and leave frustrated, then by all means, visit this place. Otherwise, save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere that actually values customers. Horrendous service, absolute disgrace, and a complete waste of time.

I have ordered a goat jumbo biryani from chilli India Preston. The quantity they have provided is way less, it’s almost a family biryani, instead of Jumbo. When I called the store to explain this, the lady in the counter is very rude and the way she behaved is atrocious.

This restaurant has degraded its standards very low in terms of quantity, taste and quality.

The food was amazing. But the 2 girls who were attending were not at all hospitable. They were on their phones while we talking to them, one of them is not aware of the menu (when we asked about differences in the dish she just read out the names and description of the dish from the menu).
Really loved the food but the experience was not very decent.

I recently dined at Chilli India and had a fantastic experience! I ordered Kadahi Paneer and Dal Makhani with Butter Naan, and each dish was bursting with authentic flavors. The spices in the Kadahi Paneer were perfectly balanced, and the Dal Makhani was rich and creamy—just how I like it!

One unique feature that stood out was the robot they used for serving food. It was fascinating to see technology integrated in such a fun way, adding a bit of novelty to the dining experience. The staff was also friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend for anyone craving some delicious Indian food with a twist!
