Very helpful staff and social distancing appears to be well observed. Food was decent, but on the pricey side. Service speed was good. Limited cocktail options. Facilities in general were clean, and the atmosphere was good. There is a ground-level view of the racetrack (not much to see) with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Restuarant Chicane at Mount Panorama - Overpriced with less than palatable meals.
We ordered the following at 735pm:
Entree: Octopus $30, small serving and bland flavour
Mains: half rack of lamb $85 and T-bone steak $55 both to be cooked as medium rare.
The half rack of lamb was served as cutlets due to the cooking time required and the restuarant closing at 830. Both meals were over cooked to well done. The vegetables were inedible due to overseasoning of salt. The mash had a questionable texture and flavour that resembled packet potato.
We were incredibly disappointed with our meals and were unable to finish them. For the price point, we expected a fine dining experience with flavours to match.
The ambience in the restuarant was awful, lots of paint work in progress and stains on the carpet. Serving staff were not attentive or present when needed.
The resturant has a long way to go to satisfy the wider community during the bathurst race weekend

What a fall from grace. I used to consider this one of the premier spots in Bathurst years ago, now it's a bit of a joke.

Insanely over priced for the quality and service. $110pp bbq and seafood buffet and they ran out of food. Also cheap lower quality ingredients. Advertising showed photos of lobster and various seafood but in reality the seafood was limited to a small amount of prawns, oysters and mussels which disappeared quickly. Food was actually alright but felt pretty ripped off

Awesome and convenient.
Good/big portions and reasonable price.
Staff were really good and attentive.
After taking the order it took less than 5 minutes to get Cheesy Garlic Bread, which was the best! Then 20 minutes for mains, it was quite busy. Monday night with probably 30 guests.
Would 100% recommend to a friend.

The view is fantastic and the buffet breakfast is very varied. I'd choose this place again next time I come to Bathurst

Probably the worst and most expensive burger I’ve ever had. Soggy bun at the bottom, tough double “wagyu” patties a small piece of soggy lettuce and a thin slice of tomato and 2 pieces of plastic cheese slices for $30.00. I gave the 1 star for the chips which were nice. I will
never eat here again. It really was a shocker.

The chefs here are honestly hopeless, I have given them 4 chances ordered steak twice, burger once and ramen once on work trips. The steaks are upwards if $50 and my dog would barely eat the food if I gave it to him, honestly how someone can call themselves a chef and consistently ruin food to the level they do is beyond me. Someone needs to be held accountable for this atrocity of a restaurant. The steak is burnt everytime and hard to eat (ordered medium rare) the ramen had frozen Inghams chicken and thr sauce was grainy and thick (not what ramen should be at all haha) this place is an absolute joke do not waste your money (I gave it 4 chances as work paid for meals, but I now go down town and spend my money at places more deserving) dissapointing that a business can get away with charging premium prices for rubbish food

Good drink options and that's about it - Do not make the mistake of ordering food like we did. 6 corn chips with a side of guac was $15 and was under SHARE plates. The chips were ok but salty, chunky and not great at all. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but the food was unfortunately, truly appalling! They have a great leverage and location, I wish they put more effort into their food.

Loads of great restaurants 10 mins from the hotel. I would highly recommend booking a taxi and heading out for drinks as well. It's just not worth it here.
