We recently spent 4 nights here and highly recommend it. I suffer from chronic back issues and the bed was super comfy. No tossing and turning at all. The apartment was tastefully furnished and the kitchen fully equipped. Before booking, I had called to enquire about the apartments and views, and we were put in apartment 10, much to our delight. Wow! It would be even more stunning in autumn. The grounds are beautiful and although the pool was too cold, the outdoor spa was very welcome after a big day of walking. We cooked a BBQ meal and played ball games on the lawn. The Ovens River is just a short walk away and the town is only 20 minutes away by foot, mostly flat. Plenty to do in Bright and within short drives are Porepunkah, Harrietville and Wandiligong. Thanks for a great stay. Chris and family.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay here. We stayed in an older style, 2 bedroom apartment which was roomy and had a walk in shower. The separate stand alone cabins have a shower over the bath, we understand. The apartment was immaculately clean and we were delighted with the small inclusions in the kitchen such as Glad Wrap, cleaning fluids etc. The undercover bbq area was also very well maintained and stocked with cleaning items and tools. The unit was very quiet while we were there after a long weekend. It is surrounded by glorious gardens and there is a tennis court and pool and spa. It is just outside the main Bright strip so it’s quiet. There is a stair case to get up to the older units. The communication from the managers was exceptional as we needed to postpone our initial booking. They were friendly and helpful. Electronic keyed entry made the whole process very smooth. We’d recommend this apartment if you want good value for your money in a very well maintained unit.

We had such a lovely time. Tracy was a wonderful host. The booking procedure easy and when I wanted to change a departure date - no issues.
Check is was easy and Tracy allowed us to check in early. The apartment was lovely - very clean - very modern and we had everything we needed. We stayed 3 nights and location was great. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Tracey also answered my call at 11:00pm asking to bring new sheets as my son had just been sick. Both her and Pete arrived with a smile and freshly washed sheets. I was very grateful. Would recommend with lovely hosts, lovely accomodation, wonderful views of the mountains, comfortable bed and a spa bath which was wonderful after a long bike ride 🙂

Have just spent another wonderful weekend at Chestnut Tree, Bright. It is the most wonderful place to stay. Tracy and Pete are the best possible hosts, and everything is provided for a relaxing weekend away. Cottages are spotlessly clean, beds beautifully comfortable, and kitchens contain the necessary appliances and utensils. Beautiful gardens surround the cottages, and BBQ, swimming pool and tennis court are an added bonus. A truly lovely place to stay. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else

We stayed for two nights during the Autumn Festival. The property is located approximately 1km from the town centre. On arrival you are greeted by beautifully maintained gardens including pool, heated spa, tennis court, undercover BBQ area and children’s playground. Our two bedroom apartment was surprisingly spacious, spotlessly clean and had really comfy beds. Everything you could wish for was provided including fully equipped kitchen, full-sized refrigerator, oven/cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, two televisions, comfortable seating, iron/ironing board, well equipped wardrobes, extra blankets, spa bath and lovely toiletries. We enjoyed a mulled wine beside the wood-fired BBQ at night and morning coffees in the sun on the balcony overlooking the spectacular Autumn colours. Tracy was lovely to deal with even offering early access to our apartment when she found out we were arriving earlier in the day. If you are wanting comfortable, clean accommodation to enjoy all Bright has to offer this is it! Highly recommend.

This is our second visit, but it will not be the last. The owners could not be more gracious and helpful. They live on site and it shows. The grounds are immaculate and beautiful. The accommodation is great for families, with everything you need on site. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, fully appointed kitchen, great wi-fi, good pool/spa, and did I mention the grounds! Finally, this region has to be one of the most beautiful in Victoria, with heaps to see and do.
