This is the friendliest most welcoming homestead in Australia.
Accommodation is fantastic, All meals are very high quality and delicious, the property and surrounds are beautiful and the horses and animals are a dream come true.
I absolutely can't wait to return.
The horse riding was beyond what i could have ever imagined. Through rivers, up and down mountains and following the country side trails.
The hosts are so warm, friendly and welcoming.
To Janma, Mike, Sasha and Brian (Owners), thank you so very much for such a wonderful experience, You have reignited my passion for horse riding to such an extent that i now want to become an advanced rider and I'm about to begin private lessons at home.
Thank you for welcoming me into your beautiful family and once again i look forward to returning.
whether your a beginner, intermediate or advanced rider this is truly a five star holiday and experience.

We were lucky enough to be included in a four-family long weekend away here and to say it outdid expectations would be a massive understatement! Beautiful horse trail rides, my 5 and 7 yo (guided on ground by parents) loved this. They even panned for gold in the afternoons! New hot mineral spa amazing for the cold weather. And the hearty farm food for breakfast lunch and dinner was really lovely - homemade chicken pies, soups, bbqs, all beautiful hearty farm style home cooking. We just felt like we were part of the family here for a few days and we adored it. We booked to come back whilst still there! Farm is HUGE so older kids can free range and just roam around. Accommodation was clean and everyone had own bathrooms etc. communal eating and games room area with pool and ping pong tables a hit for young and old. We will be back, Thankyou for such a beautiful stay x

Had a family weekend getaway at Chesleigh, can not rate our experience high enough. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and beautifully presented. The home cooked meals were an absolute hit with young and old. The hosts, what can be said about these wonderful people who open up their home, their property and their lives to you, such generous genuine individuals. The horse riding was brilliant, catering to all levels. Do as much as as little as you like, plenty of entertaining in the games room
, bush walks, or reading a book by the fire. This will be an annual family trip as requested by all of us. Do yourself and your family a favour & visit Chesleigh.

Our family of 4 and two other families were privileged to stay at Chesleigh for the weekend. It was more than we could have imagined and we were made to feel like family friends visiting from the moment we pulled up to the homestead. It was a delight to sit back and relax and watch the children as they enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife and activities that surrounded them. My two (8 and 6yr old) asked if we could be the last people to leave on Sunday afternoon. For first time horse riders they felt safe and comfortable 100% of the time and are thrilled we booked to go back again before we left! Thank you to Jan and Mike, Sacha and Brian and the kids for a spectacular weekend.

Upon late arrival, we were greeted with a very warm smile. The staff are amazing, offering the warmest family feeling. The horse riding was truly beautiful, through some lovely tracks. The meals are first rate and plentiful. The beds are comfortable offering a great nights sleep. Mike is an amazing host, reciting poetry like it should be done. Overall, we didn't want to leave. We highly recommend staying at this beautiful place and embracing the humble country lifestyle. ||If I could give this 6 stars I would. ||Thank you to everyone at Chesleigh homestead.

I came back from a wifi-free summer camp & loved it. The food & activities were awesome. Hilights were: bush walking, horse riding, relaxing, swimming, making new friends & much more. The rooms were comfortable & rested me well for the huge day comming the next day. Huge shout-out to: Jan, Mike, Sasha, Brian & the horse gals. They are what make chesleigh run so well. Cant wait to be back in May for my birthday & will be a yearly visitor for camp.

Close enough to be an easy journey from Sydney but a world away from the weekly rush Chesleigh was superb. The welcome we had the moment we arrived set the tone for the trip. Nothing was to much trouble. The food and coffee were fabulous and plentiful. The camp fire was always going and the rooms warm and welcoming.||||Enjoying the Saturday night after a fantastic roast lamb around a warm fire with a starlight sky above took you back years.||||Sunday saw a novice rider (2 lessons, many many years ago) cantering through unforgettable scenery with the group thanks to Jess and Sasha's help and patience.||||Thank you everyone for making the break so much fun.

This was my third time to Chesliegh, it is such a lovely getaway. Awesome place to go with friends or family. The hosts are lovely, the food is amazing. My 2yr old had a blast playing with all the animals and around the property. On a previous visit I tried the horse riding, I’m a complete novice but it was an absolutely amazing experience. I’m sure I’ll be back again. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
