Lauren truly made our wedding planning journey an absolute breeze! From the moment we enlisted her services, she took charge with such grace and professionalism that we knew we were in good hands. Planning a wedding can often be overwhelming, but Lauren's expertise and attention to detail relieved SO much stress from the equation.

She helped me find the most important vendors, such as the florist, hairstylist, DJ. Helped pick out all the decor. And consistently coordinated with all the vendors, ensuring that every detail was taken care of without bombarding us with endless emails and questions. This allowed us to focus on the excitement of our wedding rather than getting bogged down in logistics!

If you are looking for a day of coordinator look no further! Lauren helped marry us at the prospect park boathouse in April 2024 and it was a dream working with her. She is so incredibly organized and is willing to offer honest opinions and advice which is invaluable with her prior experience with weddings at the boathouse. Her process leverages an online software called aisle planner with various worksheets and tools to ultimately work towards a detailed, near minute by minute timeline with all crucial information in a singular place. The software is easy to use and is an excellent tool. You’ll want both Lauren and her well thought coordinating process on your vendor lineup to make the wedding of your dreams come to life.

Hiring Lauren and Cherish Events was sincerely the best thing we did for our wedding (July 2024). Her and the team were incredibly professional, helpful, attentive, down to earth and are anything/everything you’d ever want in a wedding planner. Although we hired Lauren as our Day of Wedding coordinator, she went above and beyond that, communicating with us months before our wedding day. Always keeping us honest with deadlines and the 1,000 tasks that need to get done for a wedding (while never being pushy or rude).
She provided us with recommendations on photographers, DJ’s, lighting specialists and much more. As a bit of an anxious bride, I can honestly say I did not have to worry about one thing the day the wedding. It’s truly hard to put into words how grateful we are to Lauren and her assistant Sofia for making our day run so smoothly, we felt like Lauren was family at the end of it and we wouldn’t change a thing.

Lauren and her team were true professionals, but more importantly they are great people. Lauren was an invaluable part of our wedding. She was organized, flexible, consultative and calm. She expertly navigated the rules of the road for our venue, The Prospect Park Boathouse, and drove seamless collaboration with our other vendor partners. Leading up to the wedding, she gracefully nudged us along on all of the decisions we needed to make, provided recommendations when asked, ensured the full timeline and plan for the day were set, and communicated the plan to everyone involved. Because she was on top of it all, no parents or siblings had to sweat about any details or logistics. We are so thankful we had Lauren by our side for the planning and execution - couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Amazing Experience

First, hiring Cherish events was and will always be the best decision I ever made! Lauren and her team were so professional, kind and caring. Let me give you a little back story...Our wedding was truly done on a very strict budget. My now-husband and I really tried our best to make our dollar go as far as it possibly could. One of the items on our list that at first was going to be a no go was hiring a wedding planner. I know from previous weddings I've been a part of, having this service can really eat into your budget. After thinking it through and knowing how meticulous I am about things, I just knew I wasn't going to enjoy the day of if I had to be the one coordinating everything. So... after a long discussion with my fiancé, we decided we would reach out and see what kind of day of planning we could afford. After long hours of research, I stumbled upon Cherish Events. Reading other reviews, I knew I wanted more information, so I sent out an email. Within hours I got a response from Lauren and she sent me the packages they had to offer, and my heart sank. None of their packages fit into what we could afford so I wrote back and explained our situation to Lauren. Thinking we were going to have to find something else I received an email back and Lauren was so gracious to help customize a package to fit our needs and budget. After hiring Cherish for Day of Coordination I expected to not really hear much from them until we got closer to the wedding, but I was wrong. Lauren was there to help, from afar, every step of the way. When I finally met her in person it was like we had already known each other. Lauren was so on point and so encouraging every step of the way and really helped put me at ease. Our wedding was the best day ever. Lauren and Savannah helped make it perfect. I knew I could relax with my girls and enjoy the moments without having to worry about who was where and if my vision would come together. Thank you, ladies. You truly are amazing!

Lauren and Ashley with Cherish Events are the dream team you want when planning your wedding. As a couple who postponed their first wedding date and were planning from out of state, Cherish Events made the wedding planning process easy. We talked with a few planners at the beginning of the wedding planning process and my husband and I knew instantly that they were the perfect fit for us. They have the experience and know the best vendors to work with. Everything we threw at them they handled it like the pros they are. I would call, text, or email them something I was stressing about and they were always there to take that stress away. I am a scattered brained person and can have a hard time picturing the final product. Ashley and Lauren were able to understand what I was looking to create and were a big help with the design aspect. Their planning site helped my family and I stay organized.

I give them all the credit for helping me plan my dream wedding. They did so much behind the scenes and I’ll forever be grateful for them keeping organized our most important day. I have to add, on top of being the best in the business, they are the funnest people to work with. Honestly during the planning process you feel like you are the third best friend to the group. Our officiant said if he was ever to plan another wedding, he’d come to me. He doesn’t need me, he needs Cherish Events!! I would recommend these women to everyone.
