Second time staying here. Great value, wonderful quiet location in nature, with well kept grounds and great facilities. It is an older style resort, and there are stairs to contend with. As an able bodied person this was fine for me. Both times the studio room I was given was clean, comfortable and affordable. The booking and check-in process was seamless and easy.

Nice and comfy home base for holidaying in Coffs Harbour. Great gardens and easy walking tracks around the golf course. Lovely restaurant on the property, decent prices and simple and classy restaurant. All round great stay! Will definitely stay again. Rooms have recently been updated, so feel nice and fresh.

We did not have a pleasant experience during our stay at this resort. We initially booked for two nights, but unfortunately had to check out the very next morning due to the condition of the room. Upon arrival, we found the room to be in an unacceptable state, with multiple hygiene concerns including cobwebs, insects, and visible dust—well beyond what one would reasonably expect, even at a coastal property.

We reported our concerns to staff on the evening of check-in, but were informed that no housekeeping services were available and the resort was fully booked. The only option presented to us was to either stay or leave, which left us with no real choice given we had travelled from Sydney.

As no resolution was provided by the time we checked out at 9:30am the next morning, we decided to leave. We had documented the condition of the room with photos and video and followed up via text, call, and email. Under these circumstances, we believe a refund for at least one night was entirely reasonable. We were disappointed to learn that no refund would be offered, with the resort stating they were not given an opportunity to rectify the issue—despite our prompt communication and clear documentation.

This review is intended not just to reflect our personal experience, but to encourage the resort management to take into consideration similar concerns raised by other guests. Service consistency and guest satisfaction should be a top priority, not left to chance.

We hope this feedback is taken constructively and used to improve the overall guest experience moving forward.

Not a bad stay. We had the pull-out bed for the kids and it's just turns into one bedroom. There are better stays in Coffs, and if your not early no chance of parking in the complex. Not bad just not great.

Just came back from my stay at Charlesworth Bay Beach Resort. It was a quite a spacious room with a comfy big bed to sleep in with comfy pillows. Great size tv with a couch that I could sit on why watching tv. Good size shower. Very clean room will stay here again in the future.

Started at check in with being told that my accommodation was in the Terraces block on the far side of the complex. 800metres away and up a steep hill. I did not have a vehicle. Was on top floor of Terraces block, level 4. No lift, just numerous sets of stairs.|My friends were all staying in the main series of units, which made movements very difficult.|My request for a change to the main block was declined, booked out!|My room on top level of Terraces was adequate and clean. However,|the TV did not work on arrival. Had two visits before being fixed by a television technician. The tap spindles in the shower were loose and fell off when used. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was constantly on and noisy at night. The air conditioning unit had broken direction fans on top of unit. They did not operate.

Just had 3 perfect nights at the stunning Charlesworth Bay Resort in a refurbished studio room. Room was spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable huge bed, balcony, loads of storage & all the essentials such as microwave, kettle, toaster, bar fridge, coffee pods, etc. The studio room is honestly excellent value for money. The grounds of the resort are truly stunning, & kept beautifully. 3 pools, 8 hole golf course, playgrounds, direct access to a gorgeous beach & a massive lagoon surrounding the apartment complexes. So lovely to just walk the well maintained paths in the resort grounds. Great on-site restaurant & bar, with happy hour between 5&6pm!! All the staff we encountered were super friendly & efficient, special mention to the Charlseworth Bay reception team, who went out of their way to make our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend this resort, & already looking forward to returning soon.

The good: Close to beach and you can have rooms with kitchens to cook for yourself. My room was a 1 br apartment and it was clean and had newer furniture. The forests around the resort are very cool.

The bad: the dining chairs are all ripped. The bathroom faucet does not work correctly. It needs extreme force to turn it on. And it then dripped all night long and there is no door on the sink between the bed and the sink so you can’t sleep all night. . The bedroom door does not close properly to the patio. The washing machine worked but the dryer was old and its door was broken so I was left with wet clothes and had to air dry them outside Also, if you have luggage, you will have to climb up a few stairs. We had to climb up three levels with our suitcases. I hope they give some compensation for this experience. The Wyndham next door is new and has a 2 night minimum which is actually what you need here. It’s a cool spot.
