We recently celebrated our wedding day at Chapter Place, and it was truly unforgettable! The venue itself is stunning, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the perfect tone for our special day.

Erinn went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly—she was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive to every detail. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious!

Where do I even start? From the moment I got in touch with Erinn at Chapter Place about our wedding, everything just fell into place so perfectly, even with only three months to pull it all together! My husband and I wanted a venue that could do it all, an intimate sit-down dinner for close family and friends which we held in The Long Hall, and later, a canapé-style reception in North & Common. Chapter Place delivered in every way. Between the Olivine Wine Bar, North & Common Restaurant, Adina Apartments, and The Interlude, it was perfect. Having on-site accommodation for our traveling guests made things so much easier too.

But honestly, it was Erinn who made the whole experience unforgettable. She went so far above and beyond my expectations. I didn’t realise just how much effort she’d put in to make our day special. Whether it was allowing an ice cream cart, a DJ, a sax player, or anything else I dreamed of, Erinn made it happen, making it all feel effortless. They say wedding planning is supposed to be stressful, but with Erinn, it wasn’t. She even took care of all the little details, like setting up our place cards, memorial table, and signage, and communicated directly with our suppliers to make sure everyone was on the same page. When she sent me a full run sheet and floor plan of the day, I couldn’t believe how organised everything was. I felt completely taken care of.

On the day, Erinn was incredible. She just got it. She styled everything exactly how I’d imagined, kept the whole day running smoothly, and made sure I didn’t have to stress about a single thing. It was like having a best friend and a wedding planner in one.

Our guests haven’t stopped talking about the food or how unique the venue was. Everyone said it felt like we were taking them on a journey from start to finish.

Thanks to Erinn and the Chapter Place team, our wedding day was absolutely magical. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

On a whim, my partner and I looked into having our wedding at Chapter Place and were quickly blown away by how much this venue has to offer at a very reasonable price! We wanted for something really different and Chapter Place uses the spooky Pentridge backdrop to give their patrons an event experience that manages to be opulent, moody, and relaxing all at once.
From day one, the team were accommodating, knowledgeable, and generous with their time. Every question we had was answered with a detailed response, and every answer of "no" would be followed up with an alternative suggestion to try to meet us in the middle. The events team in particular focused on making our wedding experience amazing and did their best to execute exactly what we wanted. We really got the sense that they treat each wedding as their own unique event and not a routine weekend gig.
Chapter Place also made sure our guests also had the best experience possible. We had a cocktail reception and had plenty of food, with grazing tables and even separate vegetarian/vegan options for those guests. It was so convenient to have not one but TWO hotels on-site, not to mention all the other facilities, and the convenience of Pentridge Mall being just a short walk away. And to top it off, Chapter Place easily has the best wheelchair accessibility of all wedding venues we looked at, which for us was a non-negotiable.
Our only disappointments are minor, these being communication issues with staffing changes, and an unfortunately timed technical outage - however neither of these are the fault at all of this incredible venue, and why it absolutely still earns a 5 star rating.
We would highly recommend having a look at Chapter Place for your next big event.

We recently got married at Chapter Place - having our ceremony in the Long Hall and cocktail reception in Olivine Wine Bar.

Erinn and the team went above and beyond for us in the lead-up and on the day. They were extremely accommodating with every request, no matter how big or small, and made sure every detail was perfect on the night.

If you're looking for a unique and picture perfect wedding venue, we couldn't recommend Olivine enough. Our guests had an incredible time!

We held our wedding here in June 2023. We understand that we were the first wedding to be held there as it hadn't been open long (there had been other events). However, you would never had known it, right from the very beginning of our interactions with Chapter Place (and the amazing and unstoppable Debbie!) they were organised, professional and knew every detail that had to be sorted out for our celebration to be a success. She was in constant contact with us throughout the preparation and constantly reminding us of where we were up to and what we still had left to do. And this was in quite a short time frame, 6 months. The menu tasting and the meal itself on the wedding day were two of the best meals we've every had!

On the day itself we were completely spoiled and felt like royalty. There were little touches in our gorgeous hotel room (which is part of the package) like chocolates, champagne, glasses of port and sweet little notes. We were guided through the different stages of the day with care and attention. To say we had an amazing experience is an understatement, it was a day we will always cherish and remember. All of our guests have also told us since that it was one of the best wedding's they've ever been to. It is also an extremely unique space you are not likely to find anywhere else.

That's not to say there weren't hiccups along the way, there always are. But each time Chapter Place had a plan and alternatives and were extremely generous throughout. We always felt looked after and spoiled.

Exceptional Experience at Adina, Chapter Place, Olivine!

Kudos to Debrita, Elsa, and the dedicated team for their remarkable service during our recent company End of Financial Year dinner. Their professionalism and attention to detail made the event a memorable one. The venue was outstanding, with excellent food, wine, and facilities.
