Last week, we met with friends for breakfast. The seating arrangement and presentation were fine.

However, the lady serving us was very rude, which didn’t match the overall vibe of the place.

If you’re asking about the food instead of the service—let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced.

If you’re looking for an indoor activity with family or friends, this is definitely a good spot for breakfast. Despite being inside a shopping center, it wasn’t too noisy.

That said, I think they need to improve their hygiene and hospitality, The cutlery was a bit stained.

Other than that, it’s an average place.

A Midweek Gem for Lunch

I stopped by for a midweek lunch, and as usual, the place was quite busy, but the friendly staff made sure we felt welcomed right away. Normally, we go for the burgers or sandwiches, but this time we decided to try something different—and we were pleasantly surprised!

I went for the seafood pasta, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, and the seafood was fresh, just like something you'd expect from a restaurant. My dining companion had the chicken and mushroom risotto, which turned out to be just as impressive. The dish was creamy and comforting, with perfectly cooked chicken and earthy mushrooms.

Both dishes were a great size, with generous portions that left us satisfied but not overly full. It was a delightful change from our usual go-to choices, and definitely a place worth considering for a tasty and hearty lunch.

An excellent little cafe in a saturated market. Staff and the owner were pleasant and helpful with our order. A huge food menu is on offer, the eggs benedict was just how I like it and the lemon pancakes were also very good! No pic of the cheesecake cause mum ate it in 3 min as it was very good also!

Located on the ground floor close to the banks and Service NSW, it wasn't too bad to find a table during lunch hours. Ordered special latte, omelette and focaccia, not bad. Little bit disappointed when we asked for extra plates to share, our request was not fulfilled immediately.

We had lunch and came back later for desserrts. I had a red salmon sandwich and an iced chocolate, which were good. Fir dessert, the Tiramisu and Bread and Butter pudding were very good. Service was fast and efficient.

Very disappointing. Very expensive for the quality of food presented.
Eggs Benedict- hard cooked eggs, terrible bottled sauce, and 2 tiny pieces of bacon.

Absolutely terrible experience. The burger was burnt to a crisp—blackened beyond recognition—and barely edible. If I hadn’t been starving, I would’ve walked out. My partner’s chicken looked suspiciously out of date, and she’s pregnant, so if she gets sick, there will be serious consequences. The coffee was so awful I had to buy another just to get rid of the taste. Worst café experience ever, and it cost $56! Completely unacceptable. Never again. If you want prison food this place has you covered. PS: If the chips were deep friend for any longer it'll taste like actual bricks.

The cafe has been here for a long time, thought it was a reputable and rather nice place to have lunch for my day in Sydney, did not expect it to have greatly decreased in quality. I ordered a Roman focaccia sandwich with chips and salad, for around $22, I found it extremely disappointing and basic. The bread being focaccia, was extremely flat and dry, they were extremely stingy on the toppings, the sandwich was mainly bread. The chips were not hot and had absolutely no seasoning whatsoever, the salad was definitely not fresh, super basic with a single tiny slice of cucumber and tomato. I would compare this $22 meal with a school’s canteen lunch. If you haven’t been to Chantilly’s since it was actually good and want to come back, definitely don’t recommend it. 😭
