We stayed at Chalet Brunswick for 1 night. We had 4 ladies in a room just talking at a reasonable level. The owner/worker (from reading other reviews I think it’s Harry as I’ve seen the way he is speaking to everyone on their reviews) came and told us to not be so noisy. The walls are so thin you can hear everything. We heard our neighbours throwing up and even the kettle turning on. In the morning he banged on our door and when we opened it he yelled abuse at us telling us we’re disgusting ferals spitting in our face whilst yelling and told us to get out and was almost on the verge of a mental breakdown! The way he spoke to us was totally uncalled for and he obviously has no respect for woman or anyone to that matter! We have never been treated or spoken to like that from anyone and never had a problem anywhere we’ve stayed before! By reading previous reviews you can see how he speaks back to his guests on his reply to them! He is arrogant and rude! This also isn’t the first complaint on how rude he is either! Only wish we read reviews before we booked. It’s definitely not worth the $300 a night we paid. We weren’t aware we were only allowed to stay if we just slept the whole time we were there and didn’t speak! As we left our booking was also gone from bookings.com, assuming he’d cancelled it making it harder for us to leave a review! I look forward to his reply on here as he already threatened me with that too!

Extremely disappointed and not worth the money. While the room was clean it was so small. The double bed barely fitted in the room. Very basic facilities. Could hear a lot sounds coming from the next room. I expected a much better room for the price. The property is overrated.

I had a great stay at the Chalet! It is in walking distance to everything in town. My room was a good size for a single traveler or a couple. The bathroom was very clean. The rooms are decorated lovely, and the courtyard area is super cute and practical. A little oasis away from home.
The sparkling and still water tap is a great addition.
The staff were all very friendly and super helpful! If i’m ever back in the area, i would book here again.

The rooms were very cute and simple. Was just what we were looking for to catch some sleep on our road trip. We didn't see any employees, they put our room key in a drop box and that's where we returned our key. Only issue was there was a bunch of ants all over the kitchen counter, kitchen wall and window.

Amazing place to stay for our family break to Brunswick, the family room was perfect and clean with well equipped kitchen area, big bathroom and lots of space to relax either inside or outside. Kids loved the pool! We loved the filtered sparkling water and still water on tap in the bbq area. Close walk to shops/cafes/restaurants. Great swim spot close by for the kids that the owner told us about. Service was above and beyond. We will be back!!!

Great little getaway loved it. From the friendly greeting from the owner to the great pool and free sparkling and filtered water at the bbq area. Rooms were comfy and the quality was present from the tea and coffee to the awesome soap available close to everything.

Rooms are really old and dated, carpets are smelly, bed was terribly uncomfortable, the unit was more or less clean, there's better places to stay this side, especially at 280pn.

After our campervan broke down and we spent an entire day on the side of the road, arriving at the Chalet Motel instantly cheered us up. The rooms are cosy and decorated with attention to detail. Loved the smells and colors.

Thanks to our host for making us feel at home in a difficult time!
And: Brunswick Heads is a little gem!
