Fantastic! Our family loved this experience! The mine tour with Nathan was so interesting and even kept the kids (13 & 10) engaged throughout! Being 61m underground is pretty cool (and always 14 degrees- so bring a jacket). The surface museum was also interesting, and the panning was great- the kids really loved finding the gems, the parents enjoyed the gold! Highly recommend!

We did the underground mine tour, with Graham, it was great!! He gave us lots of really good info but it was still fun. It was so surprisingly wheelchair accessible! They really had thought of everything we felt really comfortable with everything. All the staff were actually really friendly and helpful, and a good shop!

Everyone except for me thought this was going to be boring, they were all wrong. The underground mine tour was awesome and very informative. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made everyone comfortable and answered all questions thrown at him. A must-see/do if in Bendigo.

Absolutely worth a visit to this fab centre, our tour guide (nathan) was superb and we he learnt so much about what life as a miner really was like. Sadly we didn’t come away with any gold nuggets but we did come away with a lot of the educational type and they’re priceless !!
We booked the first tour - 10am, then took the ‘talking tram’ into town for lunch. Thoroughly recommend you doing that too if you have time

We had an incredible time at the Bendigo Deborah Gold Mine! We took the Mine Experience Tour, which took us 61 metres underground — such a unique adventure. Our guide, Baz, was fantastic — funny, engaging, and full of interesting facts. Highly recommend this experience for all ages!

We truly enjoyed our visit today to experience the underground tour!

Ranger Nat was not only friendly but he is also knowledgeable about the history of it, and shared nuggets of life advices that are relatable. We left the tour satisfied from the experience and learning something new. It was worth the money spent and we even got ourselves a magnet souvenir from their souvenir shop!

Well worth the experience above ground and below with so much history to explore here for young & old. The mine tour is just over an hour, but I did feel it was rushed and could have been longer. Our guild had no sense of humour, unlike the ladies behind the counter. They were a blast

The outside museum is easy to walk around with brief descriptions on rooms and the uses that didn't overwhelm you.

So go visit and enjoy

It was an amazing experience at Central Deborah Gold mine during the Easter weekend. We booked for a guided mine experience. It was very informative and took us to the world of mining. Absolute must if you are visiting Bendigo.
