Loved the cruise!! Was very relaxing and good commentary. We could sit on the ferry for several hours. In winter they only have the 50min shortest cruise though but still so worth it especially when the sun is out.

First onto the boat, asked what the best seats were, no answer. Yet, after setting off, the best seats certainly are the ones off the stern, just adjacent to shore, as the trip goes counterclockwise. We missed out on a lot of the scenery as we sat port side, when we should have sat starboard. So, if going on this cruise, which is recommended, sit starboard stern if first onto the boat. Would be 4 or 5 stars if the captain had answered my simple request.

We did this en route from Freycinet to Devonport during a short stop in Launceston. Enjoyed the relaxing 50 minutes on the calm river. We booked on arrival and it was moderately full on a Friday afternoon. The captain was funny and knowledge. Great views of the gorge.

Great views, humorous captain and reasonably priced!

We had a group of 6 and everyone had a great time. With the captain's dad jokes and a seal sighting right at the end as well, we got it all. The captain touched on history, architecture and nature too. Well worth the money and plenty to see in 50 minutes.

Lovely afternoon on the cruise. It is a slow relaxed pace but that’s what we enjoyed. It’s scenic not adventurous. Easy way to spend an hour, see some pretty views and learn a little history of the area.

An easygoing and affordable family friendly way to enjoy the Tamar. We did the Cataract Gorge cruise which is about 50 minutes, a good length of time for small children. The water is calm and it can be chilly with the winds so bring a jacket! Also recommend bring binoculars if you want to see some shorebirds.

It was an amazing experience, knowledgeable and friendly crew.
We went out to hells gates and down the gordon river, stopped at sarah island and stopped off at franklin gordon wild rivers national park. Weel worth the expense and they served a very tasty bento box for lunch. The snaks and drinks on board were very well priced too.
