My husband and I stayed at the Casterton Residence with our children while visiting family in Victoria over the Australia day weekend. We needed last minute accommodation and the owners were extremely lovely and accommodating. The Residence felt cosy, welcoming and was very beautiful. It felt like a home away from home. Our accommodation was within walking distance to the main street which was convenient and it was situated in a quiet spot with privacy and security. We felt extremely comfortable and loved that there were bibles in the bedside draws as we are a Christian family. Price was also very reasonable. My family and i had a wonderful time and will definitely book again in the future next time we visit Victoria!

A great stay. Very clean and well presented. Main street location but the unit is around the back where we could park our car close to our unit. Very quiet. Queen bed was very comfortable. Managers Alan & Gill are very helpfull and accomodating. One of the best we have stayed in. Don't let first impressions of the building stop you from booking. Highly recommended.

Great accommodation and easy to deal with owners. Whilst the front rooms are somewhat older and have that typical small country town feel, there is a great 2 room apartment out the back. Complete with laundry and huge lawn area. would suit families very well. Looks terrible from the front road, but looks are deceiving once you head out the back of the building. One of the best we have stayed in during our many trips working around Aust. Highly recommend.

We stayed one night in the back unit. The owners were great, they fitted us in on short notice. The units were clean and comfortable. I suggest booking in advance as they are often booked up.

Spill the Beans over the road has great meals. Google maps got it wrong, I didn't stay at Casterton Residence, but have heard it is very well set up and comfortable.
