A perfect way to spend the day! Henry and Angus are beautiful horses and a pleasure to be around, Shaye is knowledgeable and does a great job with excellent wine tastings in between carriage rides. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🦄

10 out of 10 Shaye !! A surprise brought "tears of absolute joy" when my partner arranged for Shaye and her comfortable carriage drawn by the adorable Kalvin, to take us on the most enjoyable, relaxing winery tour. For sharing your knowledge of the area, allowing us to relax with your skilled driving and trusting us to feed/ groom Kalvin ... such a special experience we can highly recommend, THANK YOU.

I'd give Shaye 10 stars if I could. We used her and the Victorian carriage pulled by Angus for our wedding and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect service from her. She is very professional and courteous. The guests were wowed when she came through the forest towards the ceremony.
It certainly made our day the most magical day we could have ever imagined.
Thank you for the beat memories ever.

We did the High Tea experience for a special birthday.
It is simply amazing to meet this beautiful team of horses and driver. The level of professionalism, care and attention to detail is outstanding. Such intuitive animals and so adorable.
The tea was beautiful with a large range of yummy delights, from a shot of soup to home made scones, sandwiches and other delightful pieces.
I would highly recommend Carriage of Occasion, not only for the awesome experience but the level of professionalism and attention to detail that is as old fashioned as the ride itself. 11/10

We had the most amazing experience taking our daughter out for some 1:1 time with shaye and the horses, from getting them from their paddock, brushing, harnessing, attaching a carriage and heading out for a lovely quiet tour of some countryside. Our daughter was able to take the reins and control of the carriage (under direct supervision of course) then back to the start where we were able to see the horse enjoying a good itch against each other after unharnessing them which was just so gorgeous and wonderful to see. Shaye is just so incredibly warm, welcoming and full of great knowledge, knows much about the area and explains everything as we go along. The horses, so well behaved and trained. One magical experience that everyone of all ages and abilities can experience and should!!! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our horse-drawn Easter Egg hunt this morning was absolutely wonderful, I've been raving about it ever since we stepped off the carriage! Thank you so much for a wonderful morning - you, Henry and Angus kicked started our Easter family celebrations perfectly, and set some very high standards!!!

Thank you for being patient with the little one and answering all our questions, as well as filling us in on some of the history of Strathalbyn.
