Asked about historic buildings & sites brochure as advertised in 2024 regional booklet. Was informed no such brochure as “didn’t get around to doing it yet”. They instead suggested we look up the street art murals online! I said I had a few historic sites written down so would plot them on our map myself. We felt we were just brushed off! And when we went to the Jetty Historic Precinct, most museums seemed permanently closed, except lighthouse cottage & a cafe! We weren’t informed about the closures & felt we should have been, as they are a few kms drive from CBD.

The staff is very, very friendly. We had some issues during our stay in Carnavon and the staff helped us above and beyond the call of duty.
We especially appreciate the help of Jodie (I don't know if it's spelled that way, sorry). Without her our trip would not have been resolved in the same way. Thank you so so much!
Greetings from Spain! 🙂

What can I say? One would expect that the employees would be able to answer basic questions about ‘places to see and stay in and around Carnarvon eg Point Quobba’. Get some training to gain some knowledge and some respectful customer service skills. You’re getting paid aren’t you?

Extremely helpful, particularly with my oddball questions (I was chasing a multi-geocache). Also, knowledgeable with regard to local flora. Thanks for your time 🙂
