Great spot to take a break and relax on your journey through Bruce Highway.

Lovely esplanade with beautiful views over Hinchinbrook Island.

It was very windy when we visited and the water was the brownest I have ever seen in a sea.

Go for a walk to the end of the jetty at a higher tide and there is a good chance that you will see one of Cardwell many Crocodiles. The view has many moods here from one end of the day to the other. 90% of shops are right across the road from here.

Great views at sunrise and sunset! Wish it had a barrier on the other side too as it would be quite scary during a high wind day.
Lovely place to look at the view though so would definitely recommend
