Great Shower & Nice Bed & Great Views but that’s where it stops a very basic room with very few amenities, Tiny TV, Scuffed floors, Spider Webs in the windows, looking dated and needs an upgrade, Fridge was ok but not worth the $170- night. Leased Restaurant attached was fine with great Views.

We stayed in a beachfront room with beautiful view, room was very clean and well maintained. I am very grateful to all the staff who went out of their way to help us during a difficult time, due to flooding in Cardwell there was a shortage of accommodation. The staff were extremely professional and helpful during a very stressful time. I would not hesitate to stay again.

We love cardwell and have stayed at beach comber before without issue but a bit disappointed this time. Not with the staff, they are always lovely and the restaurant was good too but the room (rooms down the back) was very average especially for $170 a night. Granted it was pet friendly, but it had a smell of urine or something weird that didn't fade, the fan had no knob on the switch, the PowerPoint on off switch was half popped out and dangerous and the windows were full of dirt and dead bugs, shower tiles were cracked on the edge making a bit sharp. We have stayed in the other rooms before which were a lot nicer. The pool and everything else was lovely just disappointed in the room for the price.

I arrived here late with no booking and Desi was just so welcoming!
The pool is just magnificent + all amenities were top star. I will come back here for sure!

Seriously could have spent a week there and was so bummed to leave after 2 days. The woman at reception is just beautiful and the whole park is just a happy vibe. We will go back and I highly recommend for family’s (especially single parent ones) as my life was so easy while they could be entertained. The poolside cabin was so ideally suited as I just sat on the balcony while they played for ages at the park

Our family booked 3 villas, 2 poolside and 1 ocean view from 23rd to 29th Dec. While the staff were friendly their standard of clean left a lot to be desired. There was a pair of shorts clearly visible left under a bed in the ocean villa while others were trying to keep cockroaches and ants out of their food and belongings. When mentioned to reception they apologised and said it was because of all the rain they have had up there lately and were given a pest spray. The cockroaches were a problem getting into a suitcase too so our family went and purchased cockroach baits themselves. When they left you could clearly see where the cockroaches had been so the family left the baits there. |After a couple of days I went to reception to ask for more sugar and tea bags but was told they were complimentary and people staying longer had to get their own. There were 4 adults in our villa so 5 or 6 tea bags was never going to be enough even for a couple of days. I was told they would give us more but we never saw them. With the cost of staying there especially over Christmas I would have thought they could spare a few tea bags and sugar. |There were 7 of us in the ocean villa which sleeps up to 7 but only had a towel rack for 2 towels so we asked if we could get a portable clothes rack which they did supply as well as fresh towels.

Great caravan and motel site. Room was spacious and clean. Modern interior and comfortable bed. Recommended for a stay if up near Cardwell.
