Really loved this accommodation here! It was in such a beautiful spot and the views were amazing! Everything was pretty much walking distance and it felt super safe at night time as well. The place was super clean and didn’t find any roaches anywhere which was relieving or anything like that. The pool, spa and sauna were also excellent! Also absolutely loved that there was a smart tv and two bathrooms in our apartment. We also got a free upgrade which we really appreciated. Really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back here again in the future with my family. Thank you! ☺️

Great facilities, clean rooms, nice staff, spectacular views and comfy beds! Overall a great Stay. Spa was huge and warm, not far from beach and in the heart of surfers paradise. Outdoor pool and tennis court were also great fun! Internet works great and all kitchen appliances work well.

We have stayed at Arena several times over the past few years. The location is excellent, the apartments are lovely - light, spacious, well-equipped - and the staff are genuinely helpful. We had to rearrange our travel dates twice, due to unforseen circumstances. The staff were understanding and helpful, and even managed to assign us a wonderful apartment that met all our 'wants' as well as our 'needs', which really added to our enjoyment of our holiday. We had been with an agent and she had essentially booked us this apartment. So we had no idea on how it was going to be as she made it sound very nice. We get there and instantly we notice its very far from the main area of surfers paradise (20 minutes walking). We go in to check in we notice the indoor pool and outdoor are quiet small. Once we get to our room we were disappointed and disgusted. We booked a room on level 13. with 2 bedrooms, one bedroom included 2 single beds and the other a queen size bed. Don't get me wrong the view was amazing. the overall apartment has a funny smell and the bedroom light wasn't even working. The bathrooms were dirty we were disappointed and instantly cancelled. we paid $1,500, and honestly a waste of money! you can find many other nice apartments that are near the main area of surfers paradise FOR A WAY CHEAPER PRICE. We stayed for one night and decided to cancel and wanted a refund. however the owner, lisa, still decided to charge us for 2 nights even though we stayed for one. Half the time the office wasn't even open so we couldn't even get in touch with the manager! Don't recommend this at all!

Except for the spectacular views, our stay here was a disaster.
Upon arrival there was no bottom sheet on the bed and the pillow cases were yellowed. We were made to feel bad when we complained and asked for the bed to be remade.
The dishwasher was full of dishes and one of the bathrooms had not been cleaned. The oven was a health risk. We had to search the cupboards for a tea towel.There were mint wrappers on the floor in my room.
One doona cover wreaked of BO and the blanket in the cupboard was thrown in there unfolded and wreaked even more.
There was not enough room in the second bedroom so we placed our luggage behind the couch. It was pouring rain and everything was drenched as, unbeknown to us, the windows leaked.
The indoor pool which we wanted to use due to the inclement weather was being renovated. We were not told about the scheduled renovations when we booked.
We contacted the owner and asked to have the cleaning fee refunded as the place had not been serviced properly. We have not heard back from her...that was weeks ago now.
Very disappointing indeed!!!
Will definitely not be staying there again.

Building is extremely tired and run down. Wires hanging out of fans, air conditioners full of dust/mould and the overall cleanliness of the place is shocking. The indoor spa pool is not heated at all, ice cold. Problems with the elevators and no lights in the emergency stairwells. This building is a death trap. Reception has been closed since we did a self check in 4 days ago. Simply awful and not worth the rating, honestly would have preffered a backpackers! We are checking into a different hotel for the duration of our trip. Shame on the building managers. I hope others find this review helpful and stay well clear of this S HOLE!!

Fantastic stay with everything we needed plus much more. over the road from the beach, next to the light rail line and a short walk into Surfers Paradise makes the location ideal. George the caretaker was friendly and very helpful with everything.||We stayed on the 17th floor and enjoyed seeing whales breaching during their migration north. 5 stars!

We stayed here during the school holidays early Oct in unit 1301. Overall it was ok, considering some really bad reviews that I read, I guess depending which unit you are allocated to. ||Pros- en-suite for the two bedroom apartment we stayed in, bathrooms were renovated some years back, hot shower, good water pressure, comfy beds, secured basement parking, washing machine and dryer, good quality clothes line provided, best of all we love the heated indoor spa pool (remember to activate the spa function on the wall)||Cons- can be noisy due to traffic (some hoons speeding?), quite a lot of moths even though we kept the windows closed at night, need to pay for pool towels, location is average, we could walk to surfers but it’s not very near, around 15-20mins, reception close early (sometimes it’s closed by 4pm) on weekdays.
