What a way to do a Cape York trip. With great knowledgeable tour guides Dale and Jamie, beautiful scenery and the best waterfalls and swimming holes. The food was excellent and there was plenty to go around. Renae also does a great job in the background. Thank you all so much for making the whole trip so special and memorable. I would definitely recommend Cape York Guided Tours.

Thanks for making the journey to the Tip of Australia possible. Quite an unforgettable experience, amazing scenery, swimming, crocodiles, corrugations, dust, fabulous meals, camping, sunsets, and such great care taken by Dale and Jamie.

This trip is all is cracked up to be and more. Dale and Jamie were fantastic. And Renae clearly know how to plan and prep a fantastic menu. Driving in convoy made everything easy and fun and Dale took us to hidden places that were really special.
We will never forget floating on the river current at Elliot Falls or that great moment of making it to The Tip.
Because our daughter came with us we rented one of their tent and bedding packages as well. It was absolutely worth the money. The tent and bedding are fantastic with double high air mattresses and lots of room to move. So much set up time and set-up stress was saved by this rental.
If you want a safe, fun and well fed trip to The Tip take one with these guys.

Dale, (Renae) and Bones are the most amazing hosts and go out of their way to accommodate everyone on tour. Our family of four were grateful for their knowledge, hospitality, cooking and companionship. Lots of laughs and have great memories of our time in FNQ. Would love to do it again.

Wow what can I say about Capeyork Guided Tours other than a lifetime of experiences in 12 days.
My wife and our disabled son went with the boys a couple of years ago and can’t speak highly enough of the tour which. Interestingly w the whole journey was relaxed and paced just right. This is a testament to the professionalism of the group which started from our first enquiry to the last day.

Really didn’t want the tour to end.

Each day was jammed packed with new sights and events. From rainforest Icecream to spectacular scenery. Each afternoon we would pull up at camp which could be a remote cattle station, outback roadhouse or caravan park in a secluded site on the cape.

Meals were a treat ranging from stews n damper to roasts. Even had camp oven bread n butter pudding one night.

We enjoyed the time with the boys who couldn’t do enough for us to make the tour as memorable as possible. We enjoyed it so much I am taking my boys on a tour next year. I am confident they will enjoy it so vey much.

This 12-day Cape York trip was an unforgettable experience, thanks to the incredible organisation and flexibility of the guides. Everything was seamless from the moment we set off—I even lost track of what day it was! The guides were masters at handling unexpected changes, ensuring our experience was always maximised. One day, I just wanted to chill, and they made that happen without making me feel rushed. There was also a last-minute change to a boat tour due to weather, but the guide expertly reorganised it for the next day, which turned out to be a highlight of the trip.
The campsites were excellent, with Elliott Creek Falls being my favourite. The facilities were excellent, and the location was stunning, with its close proximity to the waterfalls. Plus, the guide surprised us with a little treat while we were swimming—a moment I’ll keep as a fond mystery. The food was another highlight, especially the campfire-cooked meals that were plentiful and delicious. I also thoroughly enjoyed the sightseeing tour at Weipa.
After a really stressful month before the trip, I found myself completely relaxed, forgetting about work and even what day it was. This tour was the perfect escape, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Cape York in a stress-free and enjoyable way.

Cannot recommend this highly enough. We were taking our little 2 door Jeep Wrangler and did not want to do it in our own. Local knowledge is great as we saw and did things that we probably would have missed. The company was great and the food was AWESOME. Loved it so much. Thank you Dale and Jamie for the trip and thank you Renee for the beautiful food.
