Worst bar staff I've ever encountered anywhere. I walked out leaving half a drink behind. Something I've never done before. All you want is a hullo, a smile and a thankyou. Even when she gave me the change she looked the other way. Dreadful!

Ordinary food that takes an age to come out. The microwave is used far to frequently here. Things got busier then the skeleton staff thought it would be on Easter Saturday 2024 and the service was slow and horrible. The older lady behind the bar had no urgency with patrons piling up at the bar. 2 busy having long-winded conversations with locals about how hungover her and the 2 kitchen staff are and how drunk they were the night before. Then mind blown. In walks a lady from the public obviously known to the kitchen staff just walk into the kitchen in flip flops (thongs) and start helping with food and extra preparation etc luckily my party had ordered and eaten before she went into the kitchen as poor hygiene looked a factor plus the open toed thongs. Yuck. Will not be back and will recommend to others to steer clear.

The food is very basic, and a lot of the vegies they serve are from frozen, so they don't taste that good. The side salads are boring and need some effort.
My steak was a bit tough and overcooked, but my daughters' schnitzels were very tasty, and a generous size.
The atmosphere, for a sports bar is nice.

Purchased the Rump steak on the menu. It's actually $3 more than the advertised price but don't bother mentioning that to the staff cuz they don't want a bar of it and don't want to fix it.. that's the way it is and apparently has been for a while. Plus, it's not worth $23..save your money and go somewhere else for dinner.

We entered this club at around 8pm last night (a Saturday night), we were 3 steps in when a young man advised us bluntly that the club would be closing in half an hour. I thought this was pretty poor business but continued to the bar to order a drink. At 8.40 this same guy started to turn the TV screens off, 2 other gentleman and us were watching the horse racing and trots. I believe this was rude and totally ridiculous making the paying patrons feel so unwelcome to push us out on a Saturday night! I hope the rude young man had a good Saturday night as I’m sure he was in a hurry to finish work and enjoy his night but we sure didn’t! We are visitors to Canowindra and this has left a sour memory of this lovely little town.

Pleasant surprised. Its been a while since visiting. Not everything was available from kitchen. Some meal serves were reasonable size but others were small. Meals were pleasant. Large screen entertainment made watching football a plus. Drinks reasonably price. Customer service from Tim and Vic would be the main reason we'd return soon. These guys provided 100% hospitality with amazing service.
