We recently had the pleasure of taking a guided tour of Canberra, and it was an exceptional experience. Our guide Neil was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the city’s history and culture, making each stop both informative and engaging.  Every part of the tour was thoughtfully planned and executed. The highlight for us was the visit to War Memorial. The tour was exceptional well organised between locations and plenty of time to explore and ask questions. Certainly it was a fantastic way to discover Canberra, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn more about this fantastic city.

Neil our guide took the three of us around Canberra on a fantastic journey from Mount Ainslie to the War Museum. Via the old Parliament building to the current one. We ate lunch on the Queen's Terrace. Learnt history behind siting of capital plus the story of the design and construction of it. I can't recommend this trip enough. Our one day in Canberra was a fantastic day thanks to Neil and our third member Jan from Queensland. Do this trip to see the sights and understand the history behind not only Australia but it's capital too.

To get to know Canberra in one day with a perfectly designed tour, Canberra Guided Tours is the right choice. It was worth spending a little more to get to know the city and its surroundings with Neil, an experienced and knowledgeable guide, in a small, comfortable bus. Neil's knowledge of Australia and Canberra in particular was profound and he conveyed it in an interesting and understandable way. The tour covered everything that is important and worth seeing in Canberra. From the Mount Ainslie Lookout we looked out over the whole city, were able to take wonderful photos and Neil explained to us the history of how the city came into being. We visited the government district, admired the most beautiful of the many embassies, saw the old and new parliament from the outside and inside and finally the very impressive War Memorial. Neil was always ready to arrange a photo stop if desired and also answered all questions and requests. We can only give him the highest praise.

The website booking let me down a bit but I'm soooo grateful Neil helped me with my request to join the tour just 2h before it started. Accommodating, professional and organized.
Ian (the guide) was great too. Friendly, knowledgeable, relaxed. I greatly recommend the tour! We were blessed with amazing weather, just s group of 5 passengers and even managed to sit with the Senate and Parliament on their questions time. Lucky!! All in all I loved it!

I would highly recommend this tour to everyone who is visiting Canberra.This day tour is very informative and the history about the city. Seeing the old and new parliament houses was very interesting and see how the city was planned and layed out. The war memorial being there Seeing the history and watching the laying of the wreath and the last post was incredible . Our host/ tour guide Neil was incredible.
Great time was had by all.

The Canberra Guided Tour is exceptional! Prior to our holiday we were able to let the tour operator know that we were flying in on the day of the tour and subsequently arranged a flexible pick up which was greatly appreciated. The tour took us to all the major Canberra sights. Neil, the bus driver and guide provided us with detailed information about each attraction as well as personal anecdotes! The highlight was the Last Post Ceremony at the Australian War Memorial, such a moving experience.
The tour provided us with a great foundation for the rest of our time in Canberra. Thankyou so much, Neil!

A great day seeing the highlights of Canberra with Neil. The tour was incredibly informative and very entertaining, with anecdotes about past Prime Ministers, history of the building of Canberra and more. We will definitely book another tour when next in Canberra.
