Huge home with huge comfort!
Loved celebrating Christmas with my friends, their surprise to see how awesome the place was, was worth the booking alone! Everyone loved the king beds, super comfy and appreciated the air cons in every room.
Note for anyone with mobility issues, there are bedrooms on the ground floor but the kitchen is upstairs.

16 people from our Bushwalking Club stayed at Campbell House over the King's Birthday long weekend. Kate from Boutique Accommodation was very helpful, answering all our questions and meeting us at the house to show us around. The house was very clean and warm with heaters in every room. Everybody had a great time and enjoyed staying in a house with so much character.
Our only criticism was that the upstairs kitchen was a bit small for 16 people to cook together, we did use the downstairs external commercial kitchen which helped with the preparation and some cooking. However, this kitchen could have been set up in a better way e.g. more appropriately sized pans for the commercial stove and crockery.
Overall, though it was a great place to stay, and we would all thoroughly recommend it for a large group.

We had a wonderful family weekend. The rooms were cosy and warm and beautifully presented. The only downside to be aware of (that didn't affect us) is that the kitchen and dining area is upstairs and quite small for a full house of guests. We had a caterer come in who used the downstairs commercial kitchen for prepping but they had a good workout bringing things up and down. Also worth considering if you have guests with mobility issues. Ideally located and everything you could need! We'll be back!

Stayed for fiftieth birthday, Such a beautiful house and the perfect accommodation for a group, (4 families).
There are bathrooms on every floor and the ground floor bathroom and lower ground are renovated.
The kitchen is very well equipped, serving ware for dinner party’s and informal meals alike.
The downstairs commercial kitchen was really useful when using the Bbq.
The beds are very comfy and the decor stunning and unique.
Would love to return for another family and friend stay.

Gorgeous accommodation with room for everyone!
We used Campbell House as our wedding accommodation for the whole bridal party. The rooms were very nice with comfortable beds and even better the house provided the best backdrop for photos.

We had a fantastic stay at Campbell House. The rooms were spacious and quiet, some with beautiful views. The beds were extremely comfortable & the linen luxurious & fresh. It’s walking distance to the restaurants, cafes, galleries, Theatre Royal & shops. A perfect venue for a group stay in Castlemaine!

Campbell House really does exceed all expectations. The property is so beautiful and charming, it transforms you into another era! All of the bedrooms are equally stunning and comfortable and both kitchens were functionally practical. We enjoyed every inch of this house. Such a great stay for a big group of friends or family. Cannot thank you enough for the seamless experience. Highly recommend, bravo!
