First time visit to this park and ride since moving north of Cambridge. There was plenty of parking. Toilets need a bit of love and attention. Drivers were lovely and helpful.

We were attending a match at the football stadium. Parking at the park and ride was easy and there was a convenient waiting room with toilets and drinks machine if you needed it. The buses came promptly and were clean and comfortable and we quickly reached our destination.
HOWEVER...the return journey was not so pleasant. The traffic was queuing going out of Cambridge, there was no sign of a bus for ages and no chance of getting anywhere fast if one came. We decided to walk the mile back to the park and ride, about half an hour's walk, and when we arrived there was still no sign of a bus. I have fibromyalgia and I was left feeling sore, aching and exhausted with an hour's drive still ahead of me. I can't help thinking that a bus lane would prevent this problem and is probably essential to make a park and ride service operate effectively.
