I don’t like writing negative reviews but had to recommend against the bottle shop. We came through and bought a case of beer which we realised was 11 months past the ‘best before’ date after we’d each drank a couple and some of us ended up with gastro symptoms. Came back to ask for a refund and the manager was seriously unprofessional (including swearing at us and it looked like he was gearing up for a punch up). Clearly they’re not keeping an eye on stock, and we didn’t appreciate being met with verbal and physical aggression when asking for basic consumer rights. Disappointingly below par.

We bought beer that had expired almost 1 year ago and unfortunately drank some before realising the date was off, one of us got sick the day after. We then tried to return the rest of the beer and the staff didn’t apologize nor thought it was their problem; they were exteremely rude, unprofessional and refused to help us. Go somewhere else, absolutely ridiculous experience.

Became aggressive and abusive when requested a refund for an expired case of beer. Did not get refunded and no effort made to try to rectify the situation. Was left absolutely shocked and appalled by this experience. Will not go into all the explicit names we were called.

Love coming to the Caledonia Hotel. We can't fault them. The staff are so lovely, food is delicious, beer is cold and the atmosphere is great!

Don’t buy alcohol from here unless you want expired beers that make you sick. Then the staff are unhelpful and make you spend your own time instead of trying to actually help their mistake.

Pub needs some love but who cares the food is fabulous .👌 I had fish &chps ,my sister had chicken snitzel and my brother had squid salad &chips . Food was so fresh and huge servngs.All meals and service was great and just to finish the meal the chef had a gorgeous smile .Thank you will definitely be calling back on my next road trip.

Not the prettiest pub but has some local charm about it... Bartender was friendly with the regulars and the cocktail menus and food menus looked updated and fun for a old pub. Dining room had been done what renovated and back deck looked like the place to be on a nice sunny Saturday sesh 😎🍻
