We enjoyed a fabulous day out with our friendly tour guide, Dale exploring the region from Cairns to Cooktown. This is a well organised and informative tour, a fantastic day out that you won’t regret. We chose the back seat of the bus because we knew how much fun it would be bouncing around while navigating the Bloomfield track and we weren’t disappointed, lots of giggles and laughter. Dale is a great host and is lots of fun. Thanks for an amazing day.

My wife and I had a lovely time on the Cairns to Cooktown tour. Dale is a great host and has a wealth of knowledge about the area. Highlights include four-wheel driving the Bloomfield track, the Cooktown Museum, and a visit to the Lion's Den pub, to name a few. We highly recommend!

A must do tour. Dale is very informative and really knows the FNQ area and Capt Cook Australian history. You see the rainforest met the reef, unbelievable Daintree experience. Beautiful beaches and reef views from Cooktown lookout and a true pub feed and that's only half way. Black Mountain is right up there with Uluru , a real site to see. Maybe if your lucky find some gold on the way. Well worth the full day out and the price is cheap for what your will do.

The 4WD bus tour with Dale along the Bloomfield Track to Cooktown is up there with one of the greatest I’ve ever enjoyed around the world. The fact that Dale is the owner/operator and very knowledgeable driver/guide with his genuine friendly disposition that bonded our small group together made the day. A wonderful experience from start to finish. Dale provided us with informative commentary at each portion of the tour. The scenery was always changing, from the Daintree rainforest and Thornton Beach, the Bloomfield Track, the magnificent rivers, the creek crossings and sweeping views from Grassy Hill at Cooktown and also, on our return trip via the inland route. So much to see. The places visited were interesting and the pub lunch provided was excellent. A memorable day.

My friend and I were picked up on time from our hotel. Dale was very friendly, professional and informative. We had a fun day with some rough riding along the Bloomfleld track. Had a great lunch at the Cooktown Hotel, lots of stunning views and photo opportunities. All in all had a great day. Would thoroughly recommend this trip. Thanks Dale for great day.

What a fantastic day we had when we travelled from Cairns to Cooktown and back again with Cairns to Cooktown 4WD Tours. Dale (the owner and also our driver) went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best day possible. Cold bottled water and snacks were provided during the day and after taking in the views from Grassy Hill Lookout in Cooktown we enjoyed a yummy lunch at the Cooktown Hotel. There were several stops on both the way up to Cooktown and return. Dale was always ready to take photos for those on board without having to be asked, his commentary throughout the day was both informative and interesting and you can definitely sense Dale’s love of this area. We highly recommend Cairns to Cooktown 4WD Tours – overall a fun day and very reasonable priced. (Jenny & Terry)
