I highly recommend the lamb shank! This was the best I’ve ever had!.

I was sad to see the soup of the day (normally some kind of beef?) was off the menu as that was my go to and always looked forward to traveling out there for that.

Service can sometimes be a bit slow at getting drinks etc out.

On a whole that, a great place that serves amazing meals. I recommend making a booking though as it does get quite busy

Beautiful place in the middle of town with friendly staff and good food. Coffee was actually hot so it could be drunk over the time it took to eat the food. Will be back for sure

Very nice coffee (Black Mountain) and good powdered chai latte. The food is always plentiful and appealing. Some days there are more/ better cakes than others, depending on the traffic. Prices are good and there's plenty of food on the plate and it's well presented.
Also a good place to stop in the morning for a takeaway coffee and toasty or egg and bacon roll.
Dog friendly seating out front and under cover at the side. A good vibe, nice inside too. Unpretentious but welcoming.

Best food and atmosphere in the area. So glad it is staying open when the wood gallery closes. Best barramundi, and corn fritters were very tasty

Strongly recommend the 3 Southern fried Chicken. It is not spicy or very salty but full of flavour in side. One of the best chicken in my life (I changed the mesh potato to the chips)

This visit to the Bungendore Cafe Woodworks was an extended family catch-up. The staff were lovely and very accommodating to kids. The atmosphere is unique and charming. It is part of the woodworks scene with a glass door through to the gallery and original artwork for sale on the cafe walls. I noticed that all the other cafe patrons seemed to be having a great time. On a chilly autumn day, it was nice and cozy in the dining area.

In terms of food, we got a range of things - pasta dishes, grilled fish, fisherman’s basket and an all day breakfast option. Everyone was was very happy with their food, lots of comments about excellent flavors and tasty chips. We ordered coffees afterwards and as my father in law said “I’m a fussy coffee drinker and this is excellent!”

The facilities were great too

Thanks cafe woodworks team, we will definitely be back!

A group of us had booked a table for Sunday lunch and we were positioned in a lovely sunny spot. My partner and I arrived first and ordered coffee/tea. Delivery was a bit slow and my flat white looked like a rush job, but tasted okay. By delivery most of our group had arrived and our orders were taken and subsequently delivered promptly. Everyone was happy with their choices which ranged from good to generous serves. My cheese and tomato toasty with added ham was closer to the good serving description but tasted good. We were happy with our choice of venue and visiting the wood gallery next door was a bonus.

Busy place at lunchtime. Service polite and quick. They have great beef burgers, worked out great for a takeaway.
