Absolutely loved our villa! Every little detail was though of throughout the Villa and the complementary Champagne was the perfect treat for our short getaway. No need to ever go to the beach with the completely private pool, the Sun was on the sunbeds all day.

Blender is broken
Plastic Champaign glasses only?
Generally very limited in Kitchen equipment…

To say that Micalo is a slice of heaven would be an absolute understatement. This property has everything you need and want! Everything has been thought of! The design and aesthetic is perfection and every room has something more beautiful to offer than the last. The location is removed enough from town to allow for uninterrupted relaxation, whilst still being close enough to all the amenities and cute local shops and cafes. It truly was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. Perfect for a romantic, peaceful weekend with your partner, or a fabulous family affair. The property offers so many activities but truly has something for everyone. Can't wait to go back!

It's almost impossible to put into words how epic this property is. On every level Micalo exceeded my expectations. It is superbly appointed. Every detail has been thought of, with an abundance of aesthetic pleasure and with so much generosity. The grounds offer so many activities - our group of 12 didn't quite get to experience everything over the 4 day stay - therefore a return trip is a must! The guest house and main house also offer a multitude of dining spaces and lounging spaces. The kitchen is so well appointed there was no reason to leave the house to dine elsewhere. The bar is another brilliant feature to get the party started! For anyone who wants to indulge themselves in relaxed opulence surrounded by nature do yourself a favour and book Micalo. It's simply the best - thank you so much for having us!

This house is absolutely amazing! Everything has been thought of to make your stay absolute luxury!

It was the perfect setting for a private celebration and made it a night that will never be forgotten!!

Although we had a few days of heavy rain there was always plenty to keep us all busy and enjoying our time.

This was our second stay at The Villas of Byron Bay. It was just as incredible as the first. This is the first and only place my husband and I have ever wanted to stay forever. The Villa is beautiful and well appointed with very kind management that is reachable. The location is perfect - we could not recommend this property enough. It truly is a home away from home, a true vacation to relax.

Micalo was the perfect place for our daughter’s 30th birthday. It accommodated our 5 kids and 3 of their partners, and the two of us exceptionally well for the 4 day weekend. Everything in Micalo was truly first class. We enjoyed the sauna, spa, pool, bar, pool table, golf course, and had at least 2 of the outdoor fire pits and one wood fire inside going at night with the ample supply of timber. We just ran out of time to take the kayaks out for a fish or the paddle boards for a cruise. We’ll do that next time!
