BB Luxury Homes is a great, high quality rental company. The staff are super helpful and will do whatever to try assist your holiday. Will be using again. Ignore the usual disgruntled lower reviews, it’s usually their own issues not BB Luxury Homes.

NOT LUXURY!! DO NOT USE - Breached contract, refused repair and verbally abused us (in front of children!)

We rented Belongil Sails (26 Childe St) for 12 nights in February. Short version is that the air conditioner broke on the first night - a necessity when sleeping in black house with tiny bedroom windows! After hours of begging and dealing with repairmen, they provided portable aircon units. However this resulted in unusable beds (see photos and hallways (all the vents pointing into a closed hallway that reached over 43 degrees) and had no water extraction system - they simply placed overflowing vases next to electrical ports! Therefore we needed to get up every 2 hours in the night to empty the buckets.

Agency refused to move us to alternative accommodation despite many available with them.

I asked the agency to come and look at the issue (rather then repairmen). Without notice they arrived with the owner who, Murray, who proceeded to walk around the house abuse me and my family (in front of a 3 year old) who RAGED and scared the beejeezuz out of us. For our safely and comfort we left the next morning to pay again another venue for 9 nights.

In short, it was a horrible experience that was made worse by degrading and embarrassing treatment. I have tried repeatedly to resolve this with Byron Bay Luxury Homes with no luck. Still waiting on the the refund!

Thoroughly recommend Helen and her team at Byron Bay Luxury Homes. They were so professional and informative helping us to book holiday accommodation in Byron Bay for visiting family and friends. They totally went above and beyond. The place was perfect and spotless and we had the best family time. Will 100% be back 🙂

I would never again book a home with Byron Bay Luxury Homes.
We paid a deposit in March this year for a beachfront home at Suffolk Park.
Then, just weeks after paying the balance in September, we were told the owners had taken the property off the market.
Our money was refunded but it seriously messed with our plans for a special family event, which includes people flying in from overseas.
Now it's mid-October and the property remains listed on their website and apparently available for bookings--including the dates we had originally locked in!
BBLH manager Helen says it has to stay on their website as they are still sorting out issues with trust accounts, cancelled bookings etc.
That sounds like nonsense to me.

My wife and I could not speak more highly of BBLH, our experience with both Helen and Liz, who facilitated our booking (Dec 22 2023 - Jan 6th 2024) was first class.

Nothing was too hard, their communication was on point, informative and kind.

We stayed at Villa Alcorn, which we could not recommend more - it was lovely.

Thanks to Helen, Liz, Wayne and the whole team at Byron Bay Luxury Homes for their great service, responsiveness and amazing Oceano Paradiso property that I recently booked for a company retreat. We were also extremely disappointed with the incredibly unprofessional customer service from BBLH regarding our booking. I would not recommend using their services. Our booking was confirmed and paid, then covid hit and were were unable to stay due to border closures, only offered 50% refund or credit, we took the credit. Then when we went to book they said the price has gone up now by $300 due to the owner making some improvements to the property and they dishonoured our booking. we requested a refund and it took a long time to be refunded. very disappointed to say the least.

I have to say that despite some of the less favourable reviews, Liz at BBLH has been exceptional when we booked a house through them. We were not without a few issues, the house we originally booked was cancelled less than a week before we were due to arrive as a previous guest had wrecked it. Liz and her team moved mountains to find somewhere else for us and placed us in a house (Adrift) that was not only better but was actually cheaper! Unheard of! We are here currently and the property is perfect, spotless and just what we wanted for out stay in Byron/Tallows Beach. So far, we have experienced a really efficient service. I think in current Covid times, Byron is high on the agenda of anyone in NSW looking for a holiday so dealing with a high volume of visitors, cars and customer interest is going to be tough for any business to accommodate.
