I recently had the pleasure of experiencing this beautiful section of our coast with Byron Bay Coastal Walks. This was a private departure for a small group of 50 something women who like to spend our getaways doing something active & enjoying fine food & wine. Penny’s planning is meticulous & she has put together an awesome walking itinerary, beautiful accommodation & optional activities that will suit everyone! Liam our guide was knowledgeable & passionate & really enhanced the experience. Be sure to take your binoculars in the winter months as there is no doubt you will be spotting the many whales heading north for winter & giving birth before heading south in spring with their calves. A whale watching cruise is a must & is included on departures during whale watching season. I have been fortunate to walk in some beautiful spots around the world & count this coastal walk as one of my favorites. Get a bunch of friends together & let Byron Bay Coastal Walks take care of everything else - you’ll have a whale of a time!

We did a group tour with 5 girlfriends all in our 50’s. The walks were tailored to our needs and all fitness types. Liam - our guide was really knowledgeable and so easy to adapt to our needs. We had all weather during our walks and it did not spoil any of the amazing scenery that the walks take you on. I would definitely recommend Byron bay coastal walks. Such a great experience.

Can’t thank Penny & Liam enough for a positively wonderful weekend. From the easy online booking on the website to the informative app itinerary and messaging service it was smooth sailing right from the start. Transfer from the airport, luxury accommodation & meals are first class. Guided walks so interactive and interesting with the most beautiful diverse coastline to learn about and enjoy. They are very passionate locals who really know their stuff. I will be back in the winter months as so many more activities on offer. Whale watching and kayaking at Byron on my bucket list. Thanks again for organizing everything for us.

As they say on the travel shows... How many stars would you give this experience...my answer is 5 stars out of 5! And here's why...
I enjoyed every aspect of our tour, from the scenery, to Liams local knowledge and interesting stories, to the fabulous coffee spots and Pennys organisation of pick ups and drop offs.
Penny was able to critique the tour according to all our needs and different levels within our group.
Would I go again ? Absolutely !
Would I recommend to my friends? Definitely!
Thanks so much Byron Bay Coastal walks I learnt so much and thoroughly enjoyed doing this with my friends.
