We were super happy with our wedding weekend at Butterfly in Red Hill. The way our wedding was set up was exactly what we had imagined and was perfectly aligned with vendors having access to the entire one space. There was no stresses of hiring cars, seperate accomodations, travel times, etc. The indoor, outdoor and back up options that Butterfly offered was superb. Everything went seamlessly, with great support from Liam and Claire. They were super accomodating and flexible with all suggestions and communications ? Claire’s calm nature and confidence with everything was super helpful for our special day. And on top of all that, Butterfly provided a stunning wedding venue with gardens, lawns and views over looking Red Hill that truly made a memorable weekend that we had on the 7/12/24 ?

Everywhere you look is another picture perfect view! We just had our wedding here in late November and are still in awe of the beautiful scenery. There’s ample settings for guests to take photos with all the blooming flowers. There’s plenty of options for ceremony spaces (we reckon we chose the best one in a shaded nook overseeing the valley) Now what can we say about Claire! We could go on and on about how much we love her. From the moment we met her and saw the venue we knew it was meant to be. She is so calm and easygoing and has a lot of experience with wedding planning. She provides you with an awesome recommended supplier list and a useful wedding portal to help plan the day. She’s available if you need at any step of the way. We also had her as our celebrant. The words she spoke were so perfect and we felt so comfortable having her standing with us at the aisle. Her son Oscar was with me (the bride) on the wedding day and he was so sweet. Her business partner Liam was a great on the day coordinator and went the extra mile getting things on the day to help out. All our guests couldn’t believe how stunning the venue was. Inside is so beautifully and uniquely furnished as well. We definitely recommend you have your wedding here and getting food trucks is the way to go for dinner!

What can I say that would do Butterfly Red Hill justice? We were married here on 9th March 2024 and Claire and Liam were amazing!!! Nothing was too much and Claire was wonderful in calming our nerves and ensuring the day was as smooth as possible. A true angel we could not have made it through the day without her. Laim did not stop working all day and well into the night too which far exceeded our expectations and for him we are also truely grateful. If anyone is looking for a wonderful wedding venue they cannot go past Butterfly and their amazing team!

Butterfly – a beautiful venue ran by even more beautiful people. We fell in love with Butterfly instantly and locked it in as our wedding venue within 15 minutes of being on the property. There are so many awesome spaces at Butterfly including the Farm House, whiskey lounge, lawn spaces, large fire pit, caravans, deck with amazing views of Red Hill, gravel area with fire pit, grazing table and outdoor stage and three indoor spaces for things such as your dance floor, band, indoor bar, photo booth, wishing well, sitting area, etc. We loved that we had the venue for four days which meant that we could have an almost weeklong celebration. It was great to be able to stay with my wife at the Farm House a couple of days before the wedding and when we arrived there were thoughtful gifts of wine, chocolate, popcorn, juice, milk, pringles, etc. My wife then stayed at the Farm House with her bridesmaids on the day before the wedding after we had our wedding rehearsal. On the day, the venue looked immaculate and our guests were all blown away by the beauty of Butterfly. The number one asset that Butterfly has, and there are many, are the owners Claire and Andrew. Immediately, they made as feel like old friends who had known each other for years. We were invited to attend a ‘mock wedding open day’, which was unbelievably helpful, as well as their Christmas Party. Claire was always easy to contact in the lead up to the event and her advice and guidance was phenomenal. We had Claire coordinate our day which was a smart move as she took care of everything, especially important given that we had rain. Claire was always warm, kind and relaxed as she dealt with any issue that arose. Claire and Andrew also provided access to their vintage car which I was able to drive to the venue with my groomsmen – a cool experience. At the end of the wedding, everything we needed was in the Farm House as well as a spread of food. Our wishing well was also brought over, and Butterfly looked after all the pack up and clean up, as well as doing the set up. It was perfect being able to stay at the venue after the wedding and also have enough beds for our bridal party. One of the appeals of Butterfly is that you can use the space however you like and completely customise your wedding to your liking. We went with an Italian theme so had pizza, pasta and cannoli, which we all arranged ourselves. We were also able to bring our own alcohol and the coolroom was more than big enough to store everything that was needed for 150 guests. We were also able to organise the bar staff we wanted. We then had the venue for another night after our wedding which meant that we could stay there after our recovery. We wouldn’t have changed a thing about our venue – Butterfly was extraordinary.

AMAZING PLACE TO STAY!! The house is perfect - lots of bedrooms with amazingly comfy and clean linen, big dining table to entertain, a kitchen with all the utensils you could ever need, and incredible gardens just waiting to be explored. We had a perfect weekend of wine, cheese and R&R. Looking for a perfect getaway in the middle of wine country but only 50mins from Melbourne? This is it.

I love, love, love everything about Butterfly Red Hill!
The moment I met Claire and her team I just knew I wanted to get married here. They just instantly made you feel like a friend, and everything felt so easy.
From the lead up to the day and the day itself, Claire and Liam were just so supportive, knowledgeable and well prepared. I had nothing to worry about on the day, they had everything covered. Conor and I were beyond happy with every element of the wedding.
