My partner and I recently rented a home in Douglas through Annie and Leah-Ann, and I can honestly say it’s been the best real estate experience we’ve ever had in Townsville. From our very first contact, they made us feel respected, valued, and genuinely cared for — something that sadly isn’t always the case for renters these days.

Their communication was prompt, their support was genuine, and they made the whole process smooth and easy. If this is how they treat rental clients, I can only imagine the gold-standard service you’d get when buying or selling a home.

I advise tenants to avoid this real estate.

I found them to be quite uninterested, unprofessional and slow to respond with most enquiries throughout my tenancy. It also took them 6 months after our tenancy to finalise our bond.
Upon the end of our lease, my housemate and I reported some minor damage caused by us and we accepted liability. We were then met with the final report that held us liable to a multitude of damages to the property that had been there well before we moved in, along with attempting to place blame for general wear and tear e.g. "noisy exhaust fan in bathroom".
If you are left with no option but to rent through this realestate ensure you thoroughly review the entry report as they will likely leave out a lot of existing damage.

Annie and the team are awesome. We had a very bad experience with another agent who through neglect and mismanagement cost us significantly. Annie took over the listing and was amazing from day 1. I personally, have rented twice through Bush To Beach. First house was for 1 year, which I classed as my escape house after a bad relationship ended, & moved from that house to another one of theirs, which I then lived in for just over 6 years. It was actually upsetting to have to move & rent through another real estate, because I was so used to the professionalism of Annie & her team. If something was wrong, it was fixed straight away. (Definitely can't say that about my current real estate) Unfortunately, just like with many other renters in Townsville, I was forced to move because the owner wanted to sell. But I will always carry with me the great relationship forged with Annie & her team. I never give reviews, but Bush to Beach deserve all the respect & admiration possible, which is why I am taking the time to write this. It is with great sadness that I am no longer renting with this great company

I cannot recommend Annie and her team at Bush to Beach, highly enough. We moved the management of our property to Annie a couple of years ago after years of being frustrated with our previous PM company. Since then Annie has managed the property exactly as we exp[ected a professional property manager would. When it came time to see our property, we also engaged Annie and she did an excellent job (sold 2 weeks after being put on the market at a very good price); and Bush to Beach's fees and advertising costs are also very reasonable and don't include a lot of the uneccessary costs that a lot of the other agenst convince sellers they need to pay for.

I'm renting with bush to beach currently. Post flood in townsville i found the staff very caring and accommodating. The real estate treats you like a person and not like a number.

I've rented with larger companies who don't really care about who you are they just want your investment money, but with this agency they are always happy to have a chat each time you visit.
