Great place for brunch. Very pleasant filtered harbour views. Very convenient location but feels a million miles away from the city hussle! So peaceful. Just the place to relax.

The food cannot be criticised. We had the full breakfast, the cake/pancake, eggs on avocado toast (sorry, not the menu names - I might look up and edit later). None of our group could fault anything we ordered.

And the coffee was good enough to warrant a second round. Just to be clear, I don’t recall buying a second coffee at any other restaurant EVER! Yes, the coffee is good!

You will not regret choosing Burnt Orange.

Your only regret will be not having enough time in your weekly schedule to visit there every week.

What a gem!
Had a lovely weekend lunch (group of six) for a special birthday. Restaurant has a great view over the harbour. Service was friendly and attentive, but not intrusive.
The food was fantastic, especially dessert (see photos)! There were plenty of options for the vegetarian in the group. Wine was good & well-priced.
Overall, it was a fabulous experience!

I wish I could give 6 stars. I was part of a group of 25 people. We were all served in quick time, with the right breakfast, all hot and beautifully cooked. Such a great place.

nestled amongst the trees of Middle Head and boasting a stunning window of Sydney Harbour lies Mosman's best kept secret, @burntorange.mosman upscale café dining with waterfront views on their wraparound verandah, we visited for a stunning display of Sydney's finest meals! 🧡💭

starting with the Four Cheese Souffle with parmesan crisp, this was a decadent beginning. cheesy and airy, the way souffle should be! Kingfish Tartare with avocado, verjus jelly, ponzu gel, and tapioca cracker was refreshing and balanced, I really enjoyed the ponzu gel and cracker combo 🥢

for mains we went with the Thai Fish Pie 🐠, Cider Glazed BBQ Pork with roast sweet potato, garden peas and plum purée, and the Fresh Spaghetti with clams, king prawn, sundried tomato, white wine & cream. the pasta was definitely my favourite dish because the fresh spaghetti was perfect! and each bite went down perfectly with creamy sauce, and a generous amount of clams 🍝

for sides we just added the Broccolini, sunflower emulsion, goat’s cheese, almond and the French Fries & spiced salt, along with some drinks to wash them down with 🌸

@burntorange.mosman has it all and is a great recommendation for family lunches or casual catch ups, pair it was a sunny beach walk and you have your weekend plans sorted! ☀️

We hosted our wedding reception at Burnt Orange and cannot speak highly enough of Tabitha, Erika and the entire team.

The venue is beautifully appointed; we didn't need to add much additional decoration, because the view and decor are already so lovely - our guests appreciated having access to the lounge area where they could relax later in the evening as well. We also had a few guests from overseas and out-of-town, so the iconic harbour view was a big hit!

The food was incredible - many people commented on how tasty everything was, and the flexibility and options around event packaging (including extras like a wishing well, sign holders etc.) made organising an event here a breeze.

The staff on the night were accommodating, friendly, and created the relaxed and fun atmosphere we were hoping for - many thanks to all!

BURNT ORANGE isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a culinary wonderland! Chef Tim’s eggs Benedict didn’t just arrive on my plate—it descended from the heavens. The eggs were poached with a level of precision that could rival a scientific breakthrough. The yolks were like liquid gold, and the hollandaise sauce? It was a velvety, rich elixir that coated every bite with perfection. Honestly, it felt like a divine breakfast experience that mere words can’t do justice. It was so good, I almost wept!

But then came CLIO’s coffee, and if the eggs were divine, the coffee was a revelation. This wasn’t just coffee; it was a transcendental experience in a cup. The aroma filled the air like a promise of paradise, and each sip was a smooth, bold symphony that danced on my taste buds. I’ve had coffee before, but this? This was life-altering.

BURNT ORANGE is a place where dreams come true, where Chef Tim and CLIO collaborate to give you a taste of heaven. If you haven’t experienced this place, you’re missing out on one of life’s most extraordinary moments!

Such a lovely location that is surrounded by bushland and water glimpses. We went for Sunday lunch and it was very busy. Definitely need to book. The service was very friendly and professional but the food was a little slow. However each of our meals were delicious and well presented. Would definitely return to try more of their menu but will order the tuna tartar again. Yum!

We had a fantastic lunch there yesterday as I was walking my client for some physio and decided to stop for some lunch. The food was to die for and the service from Kevin and the waitstaff was excellent. The chips with the burger were the most amazing I’ve had ever. The scallops and kingfish was sublime. The burger was well seasoned and all in all was a great day out. Thanks Team and well done on a great place to chill with food and wine in a beautiful place. Kind Regards David 😋😋😋
