After almost 9 years experience, I have great confidence in long-term staff here. Carers, nurses, medical, kitchen, laundry, maintenance, & admin staff mostly care enough to do their best for residents. For many, it's personal, empathetic caring.
This is not the most elegant facility. It's fine, but not for show. It is sound. Worth a look.

When one leaves Hospital and moves into Aged Care it takes time to adjust.
I was lucky having my wife join me so our family life continued together Having been married for over 60 years, the transition was a lot easier, unfortunate she past away this year, but the continued support given to me and my family has been exceptional and caring since her death.
I continue to enjoy living here at Bupa Morphettville and know I will be well treated
Into the future.

My father is a resident of Bupa Morphettville and we couldn’t be happier. Residents are encouraged to think of it as their home, and the friendly care staff are wonderful.
My Dad is a great fan of a routine, and the staff all know how he likes things done - and nothing is too much trouble.
The Care Manager and nursing staff are excellent - in fact I’ve just hung up from the RN who was letting me know of some changes to Dad’s medication.
There is always something for residents to do - arts and crafts, concerts, pet therapy and games and exercises. (And there’s even a hairdresser who visits once a week!)
The food is terrific, not an unidentifiable vegetable in sight, and there are desserts or fresh fruit as well. There are two options for every meal, and a short order menu as well.
As well as a little cafe space for residents and family, the residents also have a tea trolley with biscuits or fruit in the afternoon.
The GM Ritesh has an open door policy, there is a resident (and Family) meeting every Monday, a Facebook page for families, and a monthly newsletter - the communication is superb and nothing is ever deemed too trivial to be discussed.
Oh and last but not least, if you ever have a question about anything - start with Yel at reception. If she doesn’t have the answer, she’ll certainly know who does!

My Mum Audrey has been staying in Bupa Morphettville since April 2024 She is well cared for by the Staff and Carers, everyone is friendly and problems are noted and dealt with quickly. Where Mum stays (South Wing) there is a lovely outdoor area. The staff are always planning new activities for the residents which is good. Mum loves seeing the Therapy dog that comes around every Tuesday.

I am very happy with this facility, especially the memory care unit where my husband is now placed. While it is not the most glamourous facility; (no fancy rooms or grand common areas,) it a large memory unit with plenty of staff. It has one of the largest outdoor area for our Loved Ones to wander around with shaded areas, pathways, green grass and resting stations. My husband is well into his dementia journey with no interest in en-suites or fancy rooms. He needs medical attention, caring people around him and space to wander and Bupa Morphettville ticks all the boxes. The staff are caring, respectful and attentive and although the bedrooms are small with no ensuites, they are clean and there is plenty of space for the wanderers. Dementia is a heartbreaking disease as it is, so with plenty of staff to manage the residents, it's a safe and caring place for those quirky individuals with their individual needs. Visitors can take their loved ones out of memory care and into main area for concerts, events and also coffee at the onsite cafe. I've posted some photos of the outside of Memory Care from April 2023

Ok as a former staff as Registered nurse, i know that clinical care for resident is minimal. There is a manager SEAMUS JOLY, who is more of a business person for profit. He made changes to some care that we were providing, i told him with that changes, resident will not get proper clinical care, i stood up for resident care but he stood me down. I forwarded the message from family who complained regarding the care. I was bringing best practices to provide the clinical care to the resident. He did not listened to me. He is a total LOOSER. He used to say, if u dont like it, leave it. Good staff who disagreed with his view left the place.
There was an audit few weeks back, rather than focusing on resident care, he called care manager from other facility and filled the gap. Just to show to auditors that we are providing clinical care. This is warning from a staff who worked there, if u love ur family dont send there, if u dont love ur parents, thats best place to send. The choice is yours.
