A bit of a journey around the outskirts of Ballarat, but what a great little country course. Feels like love of golf is keeping this club going. Clubhouse an ode to greater golf days in Australia. If you are on a golf trip up to the Goldfields District of Victoria, include this in your itinerary. Great country golf.

Nice little course in great condition. I’m sure the guy on the tractor was just aiming to be in the way though. Then stopped for story time with his mate in front of the green. Had to skip the hole.

My gosh who is this team of people you have that come to work on the holes where people are playing? Is the $25 green fees for 9 holes or the 6 you’re able to get done? I really don’t mind if there is a leaf on the green or a stick on the fairway…

Deserving of this 5 star rating on a number of levels; The course itself is beautiful, great fairways and greens and the scenery itself is fantastic. The people, both members and pro shop staff are all very friendly, very accommodating and made us feel at home. Then there's the price, $35 each (2 of us) for a kart and 18 holes on a course of that quality is amazing. Will be back next available opportunity!

Played 54 holes at Buninyong GC in 3 days last week using reciprocal rights from my SA Club Thaxted Park. The local members couldn't have been more welcoming, thoroughly enjoyed the challenges of playing on such an amazing venue. Thanks to Rob, Ian, Trevor and all the other members that made our visit so memorable. Can't wait to get back there.

Reasonable day out, course is coming back well, greens were better, not far to being really good again. Fairways were a bit fuzzy but they are also not far off. Didn't stop a fun day on the course though. 😁
