Absolutely awful customer service with little to no knowledge of their policies or any real initiative to be helpful in anyway. One girl in particular named Jess didn’t care for her job, and even hung up when she didn’t know how to answer a polite question about using a digital license.

Wow just wow. Should have read these reviews first. Today is two days after my rental. The car was fine did what I needed, price was ok not great but ok. Like most comments on here my problem is with the customer service. It was refreshing to hear such a nice voice talk down to me like I was their child. I rang today because I still have not received my invoice. They are with holding a payment on my account that I am ok with but I want to know what the charges are. The only thing that I have received from them was a condition report of the car. No contract or any other documents for the hire. I had to ring them and then I get schooled like a child by their customer service representative and then they add a charge for ADM FEE 3.5% on top of what they told me the charges would be ( greedy).

Why can't I give 0 stars? Useless website. Have ya thunk (sic) of putting the cost of a moving truck on your website? ya know it's the whole reason for having a website? You can put information for your customers on it. Ya know, the people that pay your wages/salary/income? What sub optimal non-genius came up with this website? We are not a production line, we are humans. Not everyone wants to spend 10 mins on the phone before they find out the costs. I'm going to go click on your sponsored ads a few times for fun.

Poor service offered for company bookings. Wanted to pay for use of truck the day before pick up as I was busy for the next day. Was told they couldn't take payment. The girl at the desk had no idea how to look after me. Went looking for management, all gone to lunch at the same time. So, no payment and I can't get there to pay tomorrow. How are we supposed to conduct business with a company that has no idea how to do it.
Train your staff, ensure there is someone there at all times with knowledge of the company......simple

Booked online. Opted out of (Optional) Excess Reduction policy.
Upon collecting vehicle I was told I have to take out ER, "because I was paying with debit card." This condition is not mentioned online. As mentioned, this is an optional policy.

When I phoned Customer Service, I was told the policies I agreed to online when I made my booking do not reflect the policies the depot chooses to set of their own accord.

The Customer Service Representative I spoke to on the phone (I will withhold her name) was rude, aggressive and more than a little condescending.

I am VERY unhappy with the service I have received from Budget.

Really bad experience with Toowoomba budget truck rental coustmer service really bad with full of bad attitude they don’t explain when you booked on phone and when you return back vehicle its totally different charges and they don’t want explain and ignore you and show they are really bzy and they don’t care if you standing front of them for waiting . Really disappointed . please i ll give advice for everyone confirm price and charges before sign and get proof in written otherwise they change statement with rude behaviour and charge different ammount when you return vehicle
