Pay attention to weather, if it is a choppy day make sure you aren't in the front of the boat. Our problem was that it was also very cold. We saw lots of birds, and then Australian fur seals, New Zealand fur seals, and southern elephant seals. REALLY cold and bouncy trip, almost painfully bouncy (we were in middle seats). They do provide you with warm waterproof coats, which helped. Then you go for a meal in the restaurant. I recommend placing your order BEFORE you get on the boat, you will get served faster. Meal was OK, not outstanding, but better than I expected.

Very informative / comedic, 2 person crew. Lovely views of the mountainous Cliffs, Caves & Arch formations.
Great weather on our day saw the Seal colonanies at Friar Rocks looking out yo the Great Southern Ocean. Dolphins & Sea Birds also viewed during our 3hr journey. Definitely worth doing!

A must do for any age. Wear your winter woollies during September. Staff and experience are excellent. Lunch was delicious.

Such a fun day doing the boat trip to the south part of the island. I would highly recommend even if the weather is terrible because when you see the landscape and the animals and the wild terrain, it really doesn’t need to be sunny for you to appreciate it
Staff are so knowledgeable and make it really fun to listen to the history

Such a great day out! We saw amazing dolorite formations, kelp, sea caves and of course wildlife! Different types of birds and seals. Our skippers were great as well, always making sure everyone felt good and providing such informative commentary. Beautiful experience, 100% recommended for anyone who'd like to experience the island from a different perspective!

Fabulous tour. Rick was so informative and friendly and made the day amazing. Great food at the Bruny Hotel and the tastings along the way and in the way home added to the experience. All the stopovers were perfect. Highly recommended.
