This little gem was an accidental stop on a wine tour that I was taking relatives on. Only our 2nd stop but it was so good we spent the whole afternoon there. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. Fabulous food plates to share, wine and beer.
Since visiting I've seen some negative reviews, normal, right thinking people just please ignore these but if you're "entitled" or have bratty kids go elsewhere.
This place is truly a hidden gem and we highly recommend it.

I am reluctant to write this review as I don’t want to give away one of the best-kept secrets around. Brumfield Winery offers amazing wine, tasty snacks, and a welcoming family-run vibe. I have visited multiple times over the past two years and always leave with a car full of wine that boasts some of the best price-to-quality ratios in the Yarra Valley. Whether it’s a rainy day where you can cozy up with a glass of wine or a sunny afternoon perfect for enjoying the outdoors, Brumfield Winery is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Brumfield Winery is a hidden gem for sure. Not only is the wine great, and the grapes locally grown, and the food awesome (did I mention the beef dim sims?!) but it was so nice to experience some laid back, understated, friendly, old fashioned Aussie country hospitality. Highly recommended!

Home away from Home .
This little winery is the best in the valley. The atmosphere is relaxed, Served by the most welcoming couple, the makers of the best plonk and gourmet olives the experience takes your mind and taste buds to heaven.

Discovered this place last summer on my trips to Yellingbo cutting firewood. I ended up dropping in quite a few times and love the beer. It's a nice quiet place and well run to keep it that way. I'll be visiting again very soon as summer nears.

I am always keen to support local businesses but the woman running this winery is actually a horrible individual. She insulted my family and my parenting. At no time were my children out of control and the dog residing at the property was much louder than the giggles of my kids. I have worked in wineries for a number of years and regularly attend wineries with my kids in the local area. We always have a wonderful time and enjoy having local places to take the kids. This is not one of those places. Obviously they would prefer my children to be occupied with technology and not having an enjoyable time with their parents seeing the sights and enjoying the company of others. I should point out that this was Mother’s Day that we were kicked out for our “loudness.”

Had a great tasting and the best time with the nicest, unpretentious, most authentic husband and wife team that aren't afraid to try things like red bubbles with 100% merlot, chardonney beer and a great cider. Sourdough also something to be remembered that we made as french toast with real flavour the next day.
