Absolutely fantastic in all aspects . This is the type of food you would expect to eat at a 5 star hotel in Thailand . The presentation is beautiful . Given the food , service and abeyance the prices are very reasonable. Definitely not your average Thai restaurant .

Brown Rice is an institution in the Kingston area. The food, service, and atmosphere are all outstanding.
My one little feedback would be that the Christmas lights should come down after Christmas, as it takes away from the satisfaction of the atmosphere.
The service was so friendly and very professional. All of the staff knew the menu back to front and could help with recommendations.
The food was really delicious, I would definitely come back.

One of the best Thai restaurants this side of town! It’s not hard to find good Thai food in Melbourne - plenty of options in every suburb. Brown Rice is no exception - super delicious food and they have all of your favourites. But the dine in experience is something else. Staff are super nice, caring, and they’ll remember you and your name. The presentation of the dishes and drinks is also exceptional - just have a look at some of the photos and you’ll see what I mean!

Food and staff were amazing.
Spring rolls were a show.
Curries were flavorsome and right amount of spice. Pad That and Pad ew yew have plenty of meat and vegetables.
Only don’t side is no deserts available even though on menu.

Overall from 6 dishes ordered, it's average in terms of authenticity of Thai cuisine. The place has good ambience, filled up quickly on a Sunday; noisy to the point it's hard to have conversations.
Dishes were on the sweet side, looked big loaded with wasteful display of noodles and salads. Less is more perhaps. Yellow duck curry was good, beef was tough in salad, wrong cut of beef for the purpose.
Get flavour balance right would make a whole lot of difference.

The waiter's service made you feel like royalty eating here. The food was also very tasty, but be warned! You'll just be eating and suddenly bite on a chilli and your mouth will be filled with an explosion of spice that's hotter than the surface of the sun. We were also taking selfies and another customer photo bombed us which led to a wholesome interaction. All around a nice experience, would go again.
