We stayed for two nights in villa 2 and could not fault a thing. The ground and views are beautiful. |The cabin was cosy. I loved the spa and the floor heating in the bathroom was great during the cold morning. The bed was comfortable. We used the fire a few times and it was a nice treat to enjoy. ||The breakfast provision was just enough for us. If you like a big breakfast you may want to top it up a little. |We found the owners information sent prior to arrival easy to interpret and when we had a small issue that was user error, the owners were quick in their responses to help. ||You are about 15-20 away from the main drag but it’s a nice drive either direction. ||We will definitely stay here again. ||We will definitely be back again.

Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay here. A beautiful little villa with everything you need. We really appreciated the complimentary breakfast items and wine. Great value for money and superb location!

I am so happy we found this place! We had an amazing stay, unfortunately only for 2 nights this time. We'll make sure to stay longer next time! The location and the property itself is just magical, the views over the lake and mountains in front of the villas and the beautiful vineyard behind the villas are beautiful!
The villas are cosy, spacious and comfortable, the corner spa bath is a great bonus for a romantic weekend!
We fell asleep to relaxing nature sounds and enjoyed breakfast with the included provisions each morning.
On our first morning we walked through the vineyard and saw so many kangaroos hopping around, one even with a joey. Such a special moment!
The location is perfect for visiting all the wineries, everything is just a short drive away.
Pete has been super helpful at all times when we had questions. We cannot wait to go back and bring friends and family along!!

Stayed for a long weekend to attend a wedding. Despite the heavy rain in the week leading up to our stay, and the council putting up a road closed sign as we turned onto Old North Road, we were able to access the site, if only from one direction for our stay. The cabin was spacious and well-appointed. My wife did lament the lack of a teapot though. The bed was large and comfortable and the spa was very invigorating. Excellent shower.
Was greeted on our first morning wake up by one of the miniature horses who came for a pat and the rearrange the outdoor furniture. All in all, a great place to stay if visiting Pokolbin.

We had a wonderful time, such a beautiful setting. We will definitely be coming back. Definitely the best place to stay in the Hunter Valley for couples. Would highly recommend this accommodation, we will be telling our family and friends.

Long overdue review! (I thought I had already left one but clearly not)

Me and my husband stayed here over Christmas and wow, what a place! The location itself it’s absolutely amazing, the views, the wildlife, the peace - everything about this place was perfect. The room was very spacious, and also very comfortable.

When we stayed I was quite heavily pregnant and the owners went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, and had enough pillows to sleep with! We cannot wait to come back with our daughter!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while attending a wedding and were blown away with how cute the Villa was - It was a lot bigger then we expected!
The Villa has everything we needed for the 2 nights, including a lovely breakfast hamper which has ample eggs, bacon, bread, condiments, cereals, juice, coffee and tea for our entire stay. They even included a bottle of their 2018 Shiraz which was beautiful.
I ordered a cheese platter for a little something extra and that was just an amazing addition.
I would 100% stay here again! I would love to come back during winter and enjoy the beautiful wood fire.

The owners take a lot of pride in their property keeping the massive estate well maintained, as well as the accommodation itself. The views were lovely and peaceful with some nice bird life. It is a great place to relax and enjoy your surroundings.
The spa bath was wonderful.

However wifi on the property would be great in the evenings for entertainment. Also this is more of an issue for the council but would be great if the last 2km leading to the estate were paved as there was some water damage that the council was yet to fix on the dirt road so was slow going to and from the property.

Despite the above minor issues I am giving it 5 stars as while those two things would have slightly improved our experience it was one of the best places we have stayed it. Absolutely beautiful and well looked after.
