Brick Lane Espresso in West Pymble is an absolute hidden gem! I visit this place at least once every month for a weekend breakfast or brunch, and it’s always a treat. The coffee is fantastic and the food is equally delicious.

There’s both indoor and outdoor seating available, so you can choose your preferred spot to relax.
It’s also dog-friendly, so you can enjoy your meal with your pup by your side.

Highly recommended to anyone looking for great coffee, food, and a laid-back vibe!

The egg pancake was quite good, though a bit salty, possibly due to the use of pre-made sauce. The coffee was nice, and the female server who assisted me that day had a really great attitude! For a busy café, having such dedicated staff is truly important.

We have only had delightful experiences when dining at the Brick Lane Cafe in West Pymble. The staff are warm and personable, ensuring a relaxed and friendly vibe. My personal favourite is the Eggs Benedict with a side of halloumi and hash browns. My wife is gluten-free and there were plenty of suitable options for her to enjoy. Though I am not a regular coffee drinker, my guests assure me that the brew is top shelf. It's well worth a visit when in the area; I could not recommend it more highly.

Had lunch here a few days ago and found our experience to be quite pleasant.

We came in during lunch rush hour without a reservation and got seated quickly without any issues.

We ordered the: Avo on toast with a poached egg, the chilli scrambled eggs, A Chai latte and an Eagles eye juice with extra ginger.

We found the avocado on toast, as well as the chilli scrambled eggs very appetizing. Both dishes had the flavours well balanced and we both enjoyed our picks.

The chai latte however was very mild and had a bit too much cinnamon dusted on top of it. It was essentially judt a hot cinnamon milk, not really worth ordering. The juice that we ordered tasted nice, yet still could have had more of a punch. There wasn't too much extra ginger added to that sadly. The latte to-go was of decent quality.

The food did take a while to come out, around 30min.

Service was kind, quick and busy. Sometimes hard to flag down, but otherwise great service.

Would recommend Brick Lane for lunch and will come again.

The store is in a very cute little shopping village, has plenty of parking which is good!

The brunch itself was okay. We got egg Benedict, it came with brioche toast with strong butter flavor. I think I prefer it with english muffins.
The coffee was nice!

But the waiting time was way too long. Between coffee and our food we waited for 40 minutes. And it was not that busy.
I don’t think I would like to come back here. Sadly I really like the vibe and the outdoor seating of the cafe.

Second edit - ok, you win.

Edited to add that I had no “tone” - I only ordered a coffee when I was there last and working in customer service myself I treat people with respect. But that’s all good Brick Lane can justify their actions - kind of just goes to show what I’m saying really. We’ve been there weekly for a few years now. Yes the food is great but the customer service has declined. It’s an observation from watching the growth over the years. Not always a good thing. Don’t offer a “sincere” apology but then throw it back and blame me.

We go to Brick Lane at least once a week. Lately it’s lost something. It’s a shame when a local grows so much to the point of not giving a about their customers. They clearly have the monopoly and get the clientele, so they don’t need to work hard to make it nice for customers. The staff are often less than pleasant. Too big for their boots now - we will go elsewhere from now on.
