She's a grand ol' lady who revels in giving even buses a bumpy ride as the scenery marvels when "Bribie Bridge" rapidly approaches the Island. It's not particularly intrusive in the landscape but I would hate to think what massive concrete and steel atrocity would replace the current bridge, bristling as it does with generational memories.

Bribie Bridge and a hire boat. Cheap hire and a great time out no boat licence needed. Fishing rods supplied. Only needed to buy bait next door.

Bike riders need to take care. Pedestrian path on north side is tight but has pull out areas for passing.

Old. Very little room for pedestrians on the side footpath. Constant rubbish and dead fish left from fisherman. Signs say no fishing but it's never enforced and the signs are always vandalised or stolen. If there's an accident... Forget about getting on or off the island. It's time that we got a new bridge.... And an upgrade to Bribie island road.

This bridge is great, fishing is not permitted from the bridge despite many people ignoring the signs. Have walked from one side to the other with fishing rod in hand and been abused by a local thinking I was stopping to fish.

Was under the Bridge fishing with many other boats trying there luck at catching a fish. Note: The tide when it is running in or out goes very fast under the Bridge so take care.

Bribie bridge is awesome I've been coming across it since I was a little boy I've always had fun near it and would have jumped off it if it would have been legal
