This is hands down one of the best locations on Bribie. The staff are absolutely fantastic, the shop has everything you need. Forget your favourite lure? Leave your sinkers at home? The bait shops got you!

Thirsty after a long day in the sun? Beach your boat and grab a beer on tap the northerns always nice and cold!!!

Boat problems? Pull up on the beach and you have one of the most knowledgeable mechanics I have met with extremely competitive pricing and an impressive turn around time.

The locals regularly come here to chill out have lunch and if you’re lucky enough you might even be here in the day the local band gets together! Bring your guitar and your best singing voice and enjoy a cold beer, great lunch and even better company!

All in all this is one of the best places I have been to with an unbeatable atmosphere and even better location you can’t go wrong!!

Absolute gem of a place.

I hired a boat from here last minute after being let down by a local fishing charter company. The boat was awesome and at a great price, the owner was extremely friendly and couldn’t have done more to help make the day as awesome as possible. Layton who explained how the boat works to me was also fab and extremely helpful. Great range of hair and tackle in store too, the food and drink also looked great and also at a good price.

It’s very clear the owner cares about his customers and staff. For a great day on the water, or even just a coffee I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Thanks for an awesome day yesterday, I’ll be sure to see you again on my next trip to QLD. Keep up the amazing work guys 😊😊

We had a great time today at Bribie Beach Shack. Great price, manager and the instructor are both very patient and friendly in showing us how to drive a boat (for the first time). Highly recommended.

Great setting,
nice atmosphere, outside at the garden tables, just next to the Pumicestone Passage.
Quiet, and enjoyable.

But, personally, both my wife and I, ordered the same meal.
We both felt the Batter on the Fish, Calamari, Prawn and Potato Scallop was way to thick.
The chips were thin style and nice, the fish was a fair size, and nice with the batter removed.
Service was pleasant and fairly quick.

The value for money was fair.
The signage around the seating area was quite funny.😂🤣😂🤣😂

DO NOT book through this place!!
My family and I were extremely disappointed after booking a bbq boat through this place. They false advertise so that you go through them instead of the place 5 minutes down the road which is so much better, the boat had no sound system, it had no sink, no carpeted flooring as they described online. The toilet didn’t have any water to flush, no toilet paper and was covered in piss. Absolutely disgusting and appalling work from the staff there.

This place is undergoing a facelift and should be excellent if they establish a high standard of presentation. Make it beau and people want to be there.
Had Deluxe Burger($12) was satisfying but would have liked more fried onion, bbq sauce and a quality sesame bun . But it hit the spot so give this local business a go Soon to be licensed too

A fun day overall for our group of seven.
Staff were pleasant and professional with our BBQ boat half day hire this morning.
Just a couple of issues.

Despite booking over the phone, we were not advised what to bring for the BBQ. Luckily I brought along basic utensils. It was not explained that the BBQ would need to be cleaned. We asked about it when we arrived and some paper towel and cleaning cloth was supplied, this was very much appreciated.

I later found the BBQ boat FAQ on the website. Would have been handy to know about this beforehand.

The BBQ itself did not work well, getting the temperature to 125c at best. Wasted food unfortunately. Some sort of wind shield would be a great way to improve the BBQ performance.

The only other suggestion I can make is to suggest customers arrival 45mins prior to departure for a the paperwork and safety briefing. Which in our case was very informative and thorough.

Despite these couple of issues, I would return and hire again, now knowing what to expect.
