Warm hospitality and wonderful wine tasting experience.

We had such a lovely experience at this winery! From the moment we arrived on Fri 9 May, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome - friendly, attentive, and happy to share their knowledge. The tasting was relaxed and well-paced, with thoughtful explanations behind each pour.

The wines themselves were delicious - well-balanced, expressive, and easy to drink, and we had a great time trying their extensive range.

It’s rare to find a place that combines great wine with equally great hospitality, but this winery truly delivered on both. Highly recommend a visit!

This was our first visit to Briar Ridge Vineyard - an absolutely beautiful place - a short drive from Pokloblin, but worth every kilometre spent on the road. Nine of us had a private tasting with Dave, our dedicated sommelier. He was so knowledgeable and friendly, and he chose excellent wines to suit everyone's taste. We left very happy and with boots full of wine boxes.

We had a fantastic experience wine tasting at Briar Ridge Vineyard, Dave was amazing, knowledgeable and fun he really personalised our experience by listening to all of us ladies (7) and what we liked in a wine! Looking forward to returning for another amazing experience.

We had such an amazing experience from the great selection of wines to the beautiful service we got. The lady that helped us made the experience extra special making us laugh but also leaving us with knowledge of specific wines.
We forgot to ask the ladies name but Thank you again for the amazing service making our wedding anniversary just so much more special we defiantly left with smiles on our faces and will be highly recommending to all our family and friends.

We did wine tasting and a cheese board experience! Lovely cheese with relish and jam, along with grapes and dried apricots. Staff was friendly and we had a good chat with her - lovely day with amazing wine, we bought 4 bottles 🙂 10/10 would recommend.

One of the most scenic vineyards I’ve visited in the Hunter. But what made our day was our host (so sorry I forgot the name, it was the lovely gentlemen who owns big dogs). He was welcoming, funny, knowledgable and even gave our group’s pup some treats. A lovely surprise was the complimentary cheese and crackers that came with the booking. Thank you so much, we are so grateful for the experience and I will be back for sure!
