Amazing academy for children ages 7- 12!!! Wow! I did not expect that, but I found out this is the best school for my teen daughter. She absolutely loves being there and feels happy. The owners, teachers, and staff are friendly and always helpful. Such a great place!!! Worth all the money we pay.

Although I want to mention that competitions and concerts are spectacular, it would be great to improve the costumes. They are made nicely, but a little plain compared to other schools.

PS: It would be great if Brent Street had adult classes for us. 😀 I would definitely like to apply for membership. 😀 I am watching how my kid develops her skills, and she is so great at that. I love dancing, and it would be so convenient to go to the same place with my daughter. Just a suggestion.

Brent Street is an excellent facility with industry leading teachers, trainers and performers. Their training approach creates a fast paced, intense and uplifting environment that pushes each student to be the best they can be. I was extremely impressed with the amount of care and planning that goes into creating the full time schedules. We were provided not only with excellent dance classes but, with classes covering business skills, mental health and injury prevention as an athlete to help prepare us for a long, sustainable career. Completing full time here in 2022 was one of the best decisions I have ever made and I highly recommend this school for anyone who is looking to have a career in performing arts.

The staff they have on front desk often lack personality, common sense and certainly lack critical thinking or empathy. (Mostly talking about the male staff here).
Really hinders having a pleasant experience when I take my daughter here each week.

Would even just be nice if the pretended to want to be helpful. They make it very clear to you they really do not care about you or your child.

Only here for the reputation that Brent Street has but think that will dwindle if you keep treating your valued customers like this. I have had many conversations with parents in the eastern suburbs community that share the same views.

I suggest looking more a smaller more friendlier dance school if your child is only in it for fun and not a career.

I disagree with the way they conduct their business.
Our bank account was charged with Term 2 fees, without an advance notice, while we have NOT confirmed our enrolment for that Term.

They claim 'written notice of cancellation' is in the T & C…while their model is established on a term basis, i.e. full Term payment in advance.
If their payment method was ongoing payments during the Term, then maybe that would be a non –issue.

Other families in our community have expressed similar circumstances in recent years and never received their money back.

Can a respectful business conduct their business in such way?

This is a misleading conduct. None of the businesses we engaged with during the years, for kids’ activities, is operating in such manner. This is not an industry standard.

Why is Brent Street still allowed to operate in such way?

Surely, there are other ways to secure enrolment and generate continuity. At minimum, a notification to their customers; that their enrolment is rolling into the next period, should be fair practice. That way at least, families are informed and have the CHOICE to opt out, if they choose to.

I am very disappointed with Brent Street’s decision not to refund our account. I tried to settle this matter with their operation management rep, without any success. I am certainly NOT interested in going back there.

Brent Street for us really is not just about the incredible training. The most important thing as a parent is the consistancy and stability for my children. Thank you for providing a safe and fun in environment were they continue to be challagened.

Terrible service. No one answers the phone and emails and reception has attitude. I queried them about a payment they took despite of me cancelling over the phone, and they did not want to honour it, and the response from receptionist was "this is a business".
As I was scrolling for other reviews, I notice few consumers experienced the same issue with payment being taken from their account. I also notice that they only reply to 5star reviews and ignore the not so good reviews, shows how much they care.
