The accommodation in the bure unit was lovely, especially the spa bath with the glass ceiling. Everything needed for a stay was provided. The gardens are so well maintained, the resort is stunning. Way too cold to go for a swim in July however the pool was beautiful. The reception staff were professional and welcoming. The restaurant meals were excellent, as were the cocktails. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Wow. Just wow what a great resort. 2 pools 6 different car parks mini golf restraunt 3 tennis courts and 121 rooms. Even though it is very old style it is still just an unreal resort. 9 hole mini golf was great. One pool even had a waterside! But the pools weren't heated and incredibly freezing. The spa at that pool was great though. Spare bed was the hardest bed I have ever been on in my life and I'm serious and I have been on a lot of beds. There was also no bath in the rooms. Also so expensive for the above average buffet! Wasn't a 5 star buffet still was very good but 30 bucks pp is insane! Unreal location 2 minutes from the Big banna. There was not many people around the resort as it was winter. At sometimes it felt like it was a private resort. The property was so huge that if you were in rooms 81-121 it was like a 5 minute walk to the reception! The waterside pool was near those rooms though but everything else wasn't. Overall Great and highly pleasant experience at an old 90s style resort.

Great family holiday spot with really good facilities. Overall there was a friendly nature among the entire resort and I would recommend to other families. Our neighbours were quite noisy and it echoes through our accommodation the entire time and they were noisy until late so that was the only stripe we had and it wasn’t fault to the resort it was just a little bit of bad luck and the walls being thin. Would return in the future. Awesome location!!

We had a 2 bedroom bure so plenty of room for a family of 4 or more. Room was dated but comfortable. Our room was also quite far from reception and the restaurant so that was difficult to navigate at times as my elderly father stayed with us. We would come back in summer so we can enjoy the pools. As a paid member of Accor ALL the welcome drink options were disappointing (a soft drink left in the room) and there was no breakfast included or even a discount for the restaurant. An 11am "late" checkout was offered as well which was also disappointing. The restaurant on site was really good though despite not having any ALL offers. Menu was great, location and vibe was beautiful.

I recently stayed at this resort at end of July. What a disappointment!! The room was in need of a thorough clean and the bathroom was DISGUSTING. The shower of the bath had taps coming away from the wall and there was severe mould in the corners of the glass shower screen. The all in one vanity unit was stained and had evidence of cigarette burns on the edge of the basin. The actual unit was also cracked around the base. The quarry tiled floor was cold and no scatter rugs were provided despite it being the middle of winter and the vertical blinds were filthy. I believe this resort was built in 1991 and looked it. Whatever renovations they did in 2008 certainly didn't extend to our room.
The one saving grace for our weekend was the comfortable bed.

5 Stars – A Coastal Paradise!

Aanuka Beach Resort is absolutely amazing! With full beach frontage and a beautiful bay right out front, it’s perfect for surfers of all levels—from beginners catching their first wave to seasoned pros.

From the moment I booked, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—nothing was too much trouble, and they were always smiling and accommodating to any small changes I needed.

The resort itself is immaculately tidy, with a modern feel throughout. The fire pits and on-site restaurants give off total island resort vibes, and the food? Easily some of the best I’ve had at a coastal getaway.

Highly recommend Aanuka Beach Resort—an unforgettable experience by the sea!

I did an overnight stay and loved the place. Room was excellent clean and the shower/bathroom spotless. .
The bed was comfy
I had dinner and breakfast and thought the food was quite reasonable.
And can I say the staff were great.
I would very happily stay there again

Exceeded my expectations as I was staying there solo for a wedding.. which was magic.
I'll absolutely be back. It's the most amazing luxury getaway for either a couple or an energetic family.
Straight away you know that alot of people work hard here.. from housekeepers, groundsman, hospitality to reception staff. It must be very well managed.
You wouldn't need to leave the resort for this getaway which is amazing if that's what your after.
You feel like you're on a Whitsunday Island.
