Went here to hire snow chains and ski equipments because my son saw in reviews that they are among the finest in Jindabyne. Indeed, the reviews were true. The experience is awesome. Friendly staff. Knowledgeable in their craft. The price is reasonable for Australian market. Speedy service even though customers keeps on coming.

Amazing customer service arrived at 7am 29/6/24. Staff greeted me and my daughter with a smile ?

Hired snow chains ⛓️ and ? snowboard , staff demonstrated how to fit snowchains , which was very informative .

Staff were happy to answer any questions and were very helpful ? .

Shop is very clean with a variety of winter clothing and winter accessories.

Chains was = $27
snowboard with shoes = $65

The team here at Boss Outdoor Sports are awesome. It sucks encountering grouchy or uninterested staff whilst on holidays, so go here and you’ll be guaranteed to avoid that!

We had five big and tall boys to get fitted for snowboards. Three of us had advance/premium gear, and the others had beginner gear. But after discussing pros and cons (extremely knowledgeable) they happily amended our booking and got the others upgraded too.
From start to finish, the three staff (two guys and a girl) got us sorted quickly and efficiently. So much that we were super early to our dinner reservation.

They even helped us adjust some of our bindings without affecting our stance so the boards would fit on our roof racks.

Just an awesome team all round and the boards were great! Had no issues with either the boards or bindings for the entire week.

2024 update:
Flynn and Sam were great at organising our group for gear, and even accommodated our last minute changes and removing some items from our booking.
If you’re looking for gear hire, don’t go anywhere else! ?

Good quality skis and boots for hire, especially if you have experience and pay for the higher end package. The girl (skier) and boy (snowboarder) were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and made the entire experience the best ever hiring experience I have had over the many decades coming to Jindabyne. Amazing service. They even helped us bring some of the gear to the car. Really top notch of them. A great way to start our 4 days of skiing. Thank you so much!!

This was our second year hiring from BOSS. Equipment is always great and staff are fabulous. Ryan was amazing with my 6 year old daughter. Great service, thanks Mica for looking after us at Thursday midnight. Gear is better than the one I hired previously. Also, it is really nice that you can come after skiing day and request machine waxing which takes only 30s and is free. ?

We had a fantastic experience renting here. Every staff member was friendly, helpful, and very patient in assisting us with picking the right size and teaching us how to fix the snow chains. Highly recommended!

Stopped in here yesterday to buy chains in a rush after trying to buy some at 2 other places with no success. The young guy at the counter (didn’t get his name) was super helpful
Went out of his way to source an ex rental pair for me for cheaper but I went with a new pair in the end.
I have low profile tyres and took 3 goes to find ones that worked and he couldn’t have been lovelier didn’t seem like a chore to him at all and was genuinely helpful, showed me exactly how to fit them and take them off. Can not recommend this place enough. Awesome customer service.
