We had an incredible time at Boshack. Our stay was a grounding experience; it was lovely being right on the lake and outdoors, returning to nature. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and we made lots of new friends. The itinerary is excellent; we had a brilliant day doing all the activities. We can't wait for our next visit.

We wanted to do something different and fun for my husband’s birthday with our little family, 2 year old and 6 year old, and were so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, the kids quickly made new friends and were playing nonstop. We got to feed the animals, get messy building a forte, bush tucker tasting, honey tasting (even brought some home and had to reach out to order some more!), nature walks, kayaking on the lake, digging for crystals and do lots of star gazing seeing. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and they were very accommodating to our dietary requirements. Hubby and I even go to spend some 1:1 together once the kids fell asleep as we hung out outside our accommodation enjoying the fire and watching the stars. Highly recommend for anything wanting a little family getaway with something for everyone!

I wanted somewhere to escape life's stress and am so thankful I found this gem. Our family spent last weekend at Boshack and it was more amazing than I can put into words. Firstly, the location is stunning. I took at least 20 photos of the lake at different times of day - from the mist rolling off it in the morning to the sunset's reflection in the evening. The fact that all the food is put on for you and Steve takes you on all sorts of adventures around the grounds made it an actual break for the family's grown-ups.||We were there with another family; our kids are aged 2, 4, 6 and 8, and everyone was entertained and engaged. Steve's ability to spin a tale, coupled with his knowledge of First Nations food and history made this an educational and magical experience. They struck gold when the owners found him as his morning fry-ups were equally amazing!||The ensuites are made from water tanks and make for the most incredible shower - the view is stunning and the water is piping hot. ||I can’t stop raving about this special place and already can't wait to go back.

Simplistic beauty!

When we arrived at Boshack we were greeted by the friendly staff, had a chat about the stay and were shown to our cabin. Initially it was a little underwhelming as the accommodation is very basic however, we soon learned that it was just a place to sleep as there is so much to see and do!
You do have an option for bedding and towels but id recommend taking your own for extra comfort. There is just beds in the room leaving a huge space for games if you have little ones! The rooms are pretty warm which was something I was worried about prior. The shower is amazing! It’s warm, steamy and has the best view of the lake!!

The food was outstanding we had a few dietary requirements and they exceeded our expectations with what was provided. Tea and coffee is Avalible all day, the shop is about an hour round trip away so we took snacks and some wine which was lovely to drink while watching the sunset on the lake!

The staff are fantastic, helpful and full of knowledge about the farm and surrounding areas. The farm stay at boshack gives a true sense of community with its family atmosphere and welcoming owners! They are great with kids and able to suggest and assist with activities. There is so much to do and you can be involved as much or as little as you wish!

The perfect get away to reconnect with family and let the kids get out in nature! We definitely will return xx

I told the kids to put away their electronics during our farm stay, which we were able to do, and I took the wife and the two small children (7 and 4 years old) on an off-the-beaten-path trip to Boshack based on a recommendation from family. For us, the 1.5-hour drive from Perth city was a wonderful getaway. The kids had plenty of things to do while we were there, and the location was peaceful. We saw blue lobster and long neck turtles, fed the guinea pigs, peacocks, horses, and alpacas, and canoed in the lake. Additionally, the home has a library with books and wooden blocks for the kids' entertainment. Anyone who wishes to connect with nature, spend time with their family, easily detox from electronics, and go to bed a bit earlier each night should definitely check out this location. Oh, and did I already mention how beautiful the stars are at night?

It's our first time going for a farmstay. We had a 80 year granny and a 7 year kid with us plus 3 other adults. The stay was amazing. We learnt a lot, felt fully refreshed and energised after the stay. The staff and owners are so friendly and we learnt a lot at the farm. The food was delicious, enough to eat. It's a do it yourself place where u need to cleanup plates etc after use. Our darling Vikki enjoyed playing Ping-pong, the campfire, feeding the animals and 80 year old granny even get a chance to go on canoe..

We took a very long route and quiet route to the farm as recommended by google. Our return trip was more scenic thanks to the route planned by Christy the Boshack owner. Her recommended restaurant Crooked Carrots was also very delicious.

It was a wonderful stay and we like to go there sometime again. If there is any improvement, perhaps it's better to just provide single beds as king size beds tend to be lopsided. And the sliding door to the toilet could perhaps a latch to provide more safety. As we were the only family there that 3 days, we put ou trust on the owners and staff. But if we have more families, we may feel that we need more safety measures. Thank you Farmer Derrick, Christy, Mia, Sharon the chef (sorry i forgot to ask the name) and lovely Milly.

This was our second trip to Boshack in 6 months after my daughters begged and begged to go back! Such a relaxing and soul restoring getaway; the location is beautiful and the staff are warm and hospitable. We’ve loved both our trips and met some wonderful people during our visits, with kids quickly mingling and making new friends. There’s lots of activities to get involved in, or time to relax and enjoy the lake and watch the sun rise and set. The accommodation is comfortable with all the basic amenities and they provide meals which makes for an actual parent holiday!

Wow - what a beautiful 2 day experience

How luck were we first timers, couldn't believe me eyes when we arrived, a lake and cabins, ( course the wifey booked everything ?) we were greeted by Steve who was in charge over the 2 days.

We also had the place 2 ourselves another beautiful couple and their daughter.

This place is 10/10, myself and my wife have our own business and coming away for 2 days to switch off and spend quality time with our 3 kids.

Steve is a beautiful human Been, so caring for our kids, so knowledgeable.

You won't go hungry that's for sure, I woke up both mornings and slipped at a coffee beside the fire watching the lakes mist rise when the suns breaks through the sky.

Our kids loved this so much we will be coming back for sure.

If you need a break away solo and have no kids, bring a book and relax by the lake.

Thanks again all ?
