Boroondara Council obviously authorised the Camberwell Sunday Markets that I must say bring happiness to many people and Boroondara council make a huge revenue from.
In order to get a stall you are requested to be there at 5.30 am.
Regular stall holders get there much earlier.
The toilets we told to use at the carpark under woolworths don’t get unlocked until 7 am.
In addition to this there is absolutely no possible way a stall holder can legally park their vehicle if not on the market car parks however the council are flat out issuing as many fines as possible.
Can any other business in this council open if there are no way anyone can go to the toilet and the fact there is no way to park indicates its a huge revenue raising event for Boroondara council.

Shame on you Boroondara council. 😡😡😡

I requested a street tree clearance over my boundary as it was shading my veggie garden. It took a few calls but when 2 pleasant guys arrived they did a fantastic job. The tree doesn't look hacked, there was no mess & no damage, we are very impressed thanks!

Council really need a dose of commonsense. Public seating in Camberwell may be low maintenance being constructed of METAL slats , but try and sit on them without receiving 3 degree burns. The seat was so hot one could cook an egg on it . Once again Thanks Council for thinking of your ratepayers.

Put up a big misleading parking signs in the entrance of public car park. Then put another one just for one single rows of parking slot inside the car park with a very small sign. You could not see the sign if there is a large SUV parked next to it. Great job with such intention to mislead and so you can issue parking fines.

Worst Council in the WORLD! Horrible all they care about is putting money into their own pockets not anything else. Terrible customer service in person and on the phone. No one seems to care and are so rude!! Get it together.

Council project on Victoria road hawthorn east. Double tandem trailer trucks coming in and out without traffic management.
Dust and soil on the road no care taken?
Is the council site exempt of building rules and regulations?

Communication is poor and service is atrocious. I have been complaining about the leaf fall for 12 years. The high volume of leaf fall in our garden is a health hazard to my elderly mother and pedestrians. They pile up so high that she can slip or trip over them. Also we have had ongoing damage from the roots to our fence. Dealing with council makes you feel like you are the problem. The trees have more value than we do, even though we are the ones paying the high rates. They provide you with the lamest remedies which only adds to the frustration. They take WEEKS to respond if they respond at all. I love nature but not at the cost of health. Not sure what has happened to this council but there is something seriously wrong.

They are useless and taking our money to do what exactly I have already complained to the ombudsman but there has been little improvement. In the whole 46 years of living here, the last few years have been horrific dealing with council. Something needs to give. Definite disconnect with their residents.

If I could leave no stars I would. Parking inspectors act as if they are vultures, hungry to give anyone a ticket. I called to dispute my parking fine, in which they state I had overstayed which was incorrect, they had placed a ticket on my dash way before the ticket was about to expire. The operator on the phone named Mary was rude and inconsiderate. The council needs to reevaluate who they hire.
