Susanna at Boom Events was recommended to us by a friend so we decided to use her for our wedding and it was the best decision we could have made.

Susanna thinks of literally everything and has every detail planned. She was able to recommend suppliers plus work with those we already chosen. There was no stress in planning or the lead up to the event as we knew Susanna had sorted everything.

The marques looks beautiful, all the food was delicious and most importantly, everything ran smoothly as Susanna was on-site for the event.

Would strongly recommend Boom Events and I think all our guests would too!

Working with Boom Event Planners has been an absolute dream. After deciding to host our wedding at a family home and plan it all ourselves, we knew it would be essential to find someone who could help co-ordinate the day itself. Susanna is an absolute dream to work with from beginning to end. Professional, creative, and a wonderful partner to shape and deliver a perfect day.

Susanna brings significant insights and understanding of what does and doesn’t work based on experience and has a brilliant selection of suppliers who cover every angle of any event- from florist and napkin supplier to generator, loos and rubbish disposal.

Susanna is totally flexible in her approach- a huge win for me since I wanted to be very involved with some aspects of planning (eg use certain suppliers who I knew already for some bits). Equally, I wanted to be hands off in other areas- Susanna filled in every gap and more!

In the weeks leading up to the event, the attention to detail , close direction for suppliers and operational leadership in setting up was incredible.

Without blowing our own horn, (!) people have commented that our wedding was one of the best they’d ever been to- Susanna played a huge part in making this magic happen!

Boom event planned an incredible party for 140 people. Susanna (founder of Boom) is wonderfully creative. She made the marquee look spectacular & her flower arranging is second to none. Every little detail was meticulously planned. She liaised with all of the suppliers to ensure delivery was timely and sourced great food, DJ etc. She is so experienced in event planning that she not only has great ideas but also knows exactly what to suggest and how to make it happen, meanwhile sticking to budget. We had the best night that couldn’t have happened without Boom.

After our previous wonderful experience with Susanna, I asked her to help us decorate our house for a Halloween Soiree with a Gothic Horror theme. We really wanted to avoid pumpkins, skeletons and all the common Halloween tropes and after her visit to the house and discussion with us about how we wanted to use the various spaces she came up with a Great Expectations/ Miss Havisham's house theme. Susanna is incredibly creative and has great vision. Needless to say, by the time she had set up eerie lighting, candelabra, skulls in glass cases, dead flower arrangements, loads of candles, cobwebs and all manner of greenery and eerie objects the house looked amazing! Susanna has a can-do attitude, is a delight to work with and does not charge nearly enough for the feats of wonder she produces.
